ABS light

  1. On, off on again off again on again off agian what can cause this. ive checked the plug and its was good but the light is on and off on and off and its driving me nuts i cant stand lights to be on on my dash.

    Check fuse 8 or 9 might be loose or bad.
     
  3. fuses are good. any other ideas.

    usually when your ABS light comes on it means your brake pads are low or there is not enough brake fluid in the master cylinder.
     
  5. Hmmm guess ill order the new breaks soon then i thought and give that a whirl.

    And if that doesn't fix it then something is wrong with the ABS system in its self. Id have the dealership check it out then.
     
  7. ok im going to order a brake kit probaly tomorrow going to go ahead and get new rotors pads and lines.

    Dude, I think you and me drive the same car. The ticking noises, now this. Haha, I had the same problem the other day, I took it to the dealer and they said it was because my brakes pads were worn really low.

    See most likely this is the issue! Change the pads and the problem should be resolved.

    if the pads are a possible problem, i would recommend you check them first before ordering new ones
     
  11. yea i probaly need new brakes but i cant get my rotors tuened anymore there at there limit and i need new ones anyways. so im going to order them tonight or tomorrow any ideas on where to order it from
