Ok. So I've installed my new head unit and front component system. This is what I got:

    Clarion Head Unit 53x4
Infinity 6.5 kappa component system. (90 wat rms i believe?)

It sounds AWESOME! I was just wondering tho, I would have expected a little bit more low's from the kappas before distortion. They might not be distorting, and it could just be my rear speakers I'm hearing since they are still stock... Does anyone know if there is any kind of preamp that pushes the door speakers stock in between the stock head unit and the stock speakers that might be interfering?

Also there was a switch on the component box that has 2 settings, 0db and 3db. Any idea which setting I should be using, and why?

I'm kinda thinking that an amp to push the door speakers would eliminate any distortion that I'm getting and add a decent ammount of clear bass. I'm not looking for bangin bass out of them since i have 2 12's but I just want it to sound decent without the subs, and be able to turn the bass in them up a tad to get a little bit of mid range as well...

Any suggestions on a good 4 channel amp that would do the job for these infinitys?

Also, what all is involved when adding an amp for your door speakers? Where is the best place to run the wires from and back to? And the best place to put the amp of somewhere other than the trunk (which I assume would require a good bit of wire...)?

So far I'm looking at JL (pricey) Kicker (decent price), and Infinity 4 way amps...

One more ?, does anyone know which wire is positive and which is negative for our door speakers? I'm pretty sure i got it right but i'd like to double check...

depending how low of a profile the amp has, many times it can be mounted under the front seats

put the switch on the comp box on 3db
