Hey gang, its been awhile since we hooked up so how about a friendly multi-car meet? Its our usual 3rd Friday of the month meet but this one is an open invitation to our "cousin" clubs, Supras, S2000, Subies and other luxury or high performance rides! From Amy: Well just wanted to get a thread started to get ya'lls taste buds going for this months meet. As we told a few of ya'll last month we are extending the invitation to you guys every month. So this is a reminder that the meet is coming up in the next couple of weeks and will be on Friday the 18th. We will meet again at the Starbucks then cruise over to Marble Slab. We may actually take a LONG way to Marble Slab to give those that want a cruise a chance to cruise. Those that don't can just hop on over to Marble Slab of course. (It's a really good spot to stop and talk because there is a constant breeze. And GREAT photo op right there too.) We had a pretty decent turn-out of supras(really a awesome turn-out of everyone) last month and would like to have an even better one this month! So mark your calendars now! When: Friday Aug 18th @7pm Where: Starbucks off of Piedmont Rd then cruise over to Marble Slab Who: SELOC and SupraForums as well as a few others How much: FREE!!! Just the cost of YOUR body out there in the parking lot hanging out! Directions are as follows: From the Southside: Take 75/85N the downtown connector to 85N. Exit at GA 400N. Get off at the first exit and make a left at the light. At the 2nd light (Piedmont Rd), make another left. Get in the right lane the Starbucks is visible on your IMMEDIATE right, turn right at the light into the parking lot. From the Northside: Take 75S to 285 E or Take 85S to 285W, to GA 400S. Make sure you have 50 CENTS for the toll booth. Get off the first exit after the toll booth (Lenox Rd). Veer right and get in the left lanes, at the 2nd light (Piedmont Rd), make another left. Get in the right lane the Starbucks is visible on your IMMEDIATE right, turn right at the light into the parking lot. From the Eastside: Take 85S to the Lenox Rd exit. Take a right at the light and follow Lenox all the way until you cross over 400 and then it dead ends into Piedmont road. Take a left onto Piedmont and Starbucks is in the Kroger shopping center on the right at the first traffic light. So we will meet at Starbucks, then after we allow everyone to get there we will make our way to Marble Slab Creamery. I would suggest getting at LEAST one persons phone number that you know is going, so you have a contact person in case you are running late or something. Hope to see yall there!!!
Sounds good, I know we've been talking on the mod channel about doing more multi-car type meets. I know the next scavenger hunt will be huge and we'll be sure to invite all of the local make-specific clubs.
I cant believe no one else has posted in here! I should be there no problem, and am going to bring my new camera and equipment so I can try my hand at a photo shoot! woot11!! BTW, if you come out, look for me, because I wont know anyone.

If i get my car back in time I may take a ride up to the ATL. I have a new windshield going in and have a new hood being painted. Trash from a dump truck fell out and damaged my hood and windshield, so it is being replaced.
the rest of seloc just discovered north point meets lol it was my twenty fif yesterday, so I expect you all to bring late presents to the meet! lol jk
I really enjoyed hanging out with you all...I had a great time and it was a total blast meeting new people and also getting a ride in teh 240SX...Eric, that car is soooo badass..see ya tomorrow am. Thanks to SELOC for a great time and the food was awesome at the Tavern too... Mark
Fantastic meet!! We had close to 40 really great cars there but more importantly great people! I only counted 5 scrapes, lol. 10% off the icecream at Marble Slab! We will do it again!!! Sorry we had to run out to eat, we'll make sure we won't plan a dinner event the night of the meet.
That was me. I was going to go yesterday but ended up putting myself into a meat induced coma at Fire of Brazil. Also since I saw you guys last time I bought a GT35R kit for the STi. I'm shooting for at least 400whp. Topspeed doesn't seem to think that will be a problem. They're telling me 500 at the wheels is easily attainable. Everything should be installed and tuned by the end of next week if all goes as planned. I'll probably see you guys after that. :naughty:
