http://www.aacstyle.com/ this is Justin's site, he and I made the kit for my car, and did the blacked out housing. he also makes kits for the IS, SC, and 2nd gen GS, he also does Q45 headlight retrofits. his work is awesome. I had been talking about halos with a few wrxatl folks and said I would talk with justin on what needs to be done. The first person for each model he usually hooks up with a good price and the forums they are associated with get a good price. I'll need more info on vendor stuff etc. but I put this up here because I know there is interest. We can start by sending in some good close up shots of the light so AAC can see how they would be able to go in there. They have an array of test rings now so we can usually find something to fit. check out his site let me know what you think, mods if you need me to relay anything or you want to get in contact with him let me know. He's based out of New Orleans, he relocated here last summer for a few months, and I got to work with him and learn a bit, he's a member of seloc and often drives out for shows here and in florida.
this looks promising... lets see how much interest builds and either myself or alex could start talking to him.. for your information, vendorship information can be found here
ya the one halo in an IS300 is pretty big, and would look cool as heck in the headlight of a bug eye, and AAC is the halo manufacturing companies biggest source of income, so they make him halos however he wants pretty much. This isn't really a vendor type thing at the moment, I just happen to know the owner. He's asked me if I know any particular car make clubs that are interested. I know that more then a few people have talked about high quality halos with me, and read some on the forum. I'm more just looking for a few people that A. Has a good camera B. Has a STI, WRX, Bug eye rex, etc (one of each model) C. Is willing to take high q close up pics of the headlights, and since you mentioned the fogs, might as well get those too. after the prototypes are made, then the vendorship can become a reality, as it's pointless for someone to pay for being a vendor only to not be able to provide a product. I'm sure after step 1 is made he will opt to be a vendor though. So no need to worry on that.
get the pics, I'll send them to justin if you want your headlights blacked out or painted any other color, that looks mean as hell and sets a car out more then you can imagine.
thanks JT ya they are very thin and small when they are off they are hard to notice even in black housings I think Mark saw mine in action they were visible during the day to, one of my favorite bling mods on my car.
I'd love to sit down with them (email, coffee, whatever) and discuss vendorship and expansion of his company. Im not sure Im interested in his product, however, I know the demand is there.
well at least for sales on this site it's exclusive ya. and if wrxin8or and I do the installs in town, the cost will be A LOT LESS, basically wrxin8or and I will be doing this pro bono and for "hook a brother up" sake for everyone, he's said that would be gravy and would like to help out. if anyone else has bake open experience that would rock. Whoever installs for justin usually gets taken care of.
http://intensepower.com/jdmhidheadla.html HOLY CRAP could you imagine triple halos in these puppies, that would be the most evil thing ever these are nifty too http://intensepower.com/doubbeameurh.html http://intensepower.com/jdmheadblach.html only one is a good price though lol
