Finally I get around to posting this. So anyway when I go back into the Army I was think about getting a 04-05 STi or a 944 Turbo.
But anyway, what are usually the best (top 10) mods to make first. And yes I love corners and cones. I know a couple of the basics like Whiteline sway bars downpipe, and blah blah blah, but since my knowledge of these cars are limited to the guys that i ride with sometime, I do need a little insight on the mods and bang for the buck. So any help would be ummmmmmm yea helpful

oh yea, and since I would be buying a used one, what are things to look for and what is the general asking price around 04-05

    Thanks in advance

    • intercooler upgrade
    • gauges

I would suggest trying to find one private party that still has a warenty. I was able to get mine private party with 12k miles, 70k warrenty and in very good condition, broken in correctly, for 26,500.00.

You are correct on the white line sways. That and some springs to lower your center of gravity and weed out some of that body roll.

Heres what i did in the order i did it:

HKS BOV - Like the sound... call me a dirty ricer ;)
Tein H-Spec springs - they don't lower you too much but stiffen it up a little and make a mean looking stance... great for the mountain runs.
Blitz Nur Spec-R Exhaust and Bellmouth Down Pipe
Cobb Access Port - Stage 2 map - makes one HELL of a difference :)

^ I'm VERY happy with each and every one of these mods...

I'm doing my sways next most likely since i've been working on sound and stereo recently...

After that I'll probly go with meth injection and a protune, then eventually a bigger turbo...

I'll sell mine with all my mods for $25k, it is still under the factory warranty with 33k miles on it. It's an 04 bought 11/01/03. Click the link in my sig for a "dated" mod list. Also, the FMIC was removed a while ago.

as far as suspension, i was thinking adjustable coilovers....

and hks blowoff vavle sounds like you just went thru hyperdrive (but yes i do love the sound)

yea but this is just a list so if and when i do get one, i'll already be headed in the right direction and can get to work very quickly

    and turbos, 20G or gt30/R
