I'm pretty sure the guy i know will come to you or take your car for a day. there's a waiting list for his service backed up with East Cobb business...
whomever you use ask him the procedures and the equipment he uses and PM me i have a good idea what it takes to get a car detailed of course the higher end detailers have better quality and you pay more. How much do you expect to pay ? then go frfom there
Autopia.org Get a Porter Cable buffer and a full Zaino kit and then spend 6 hours detailing your car.
I'm thinking somewhere around $150? I would do it myself, but I don't think I trust my self with the buffer machine.
screw a buffer machine. Me and scoobyblkwrx ran the buffer on ours when he was selling his car, maybe i just sucked at it, but i totally killed the hood of my car. It took forever to get the cloudiness out of the car.
Look up Stewarts Auto mobile detailing. He fixed my dents and he comes out to your place and does a top notch detail for $120. He does good work because when i met up with him he was buffing and working in a car museum on some real classics. He's a good honest bloke and you can look him up on kudzu.com. I don't have his details on me rigtht now as i'm in class.
just called Stewarts mobile detailing, it'll be $140 for wash, clay bar, polish, and wax. sounds good to me!
sorry, i decided to go with this other guy, it's probably not going to happen until next saturday, but he did quote me $100 for wash, clash bar, polish, and wax.
ok, finally got it done today. I couldn't take any pictures b/c my dad took the camera but I'll take some as soon as I get it back. But man, did he do a good job. He spent a good 5 hours to do everything, he even dressed up all the rubber and plastic trimmings. I asked him if he's insterested in doing like a detailing day for wrxatlanta and he said sure. So, if anyone is interested I'll started a tread on it.
cool idea, i did my own mini detail yesterday that took ages as i clay barred everywhere and then waxed everywhere (it was pitch black and the crickets were chirping by the time i finished). I'm quite pleased with my own results...I just hate getting it dirty now. Were you free of swirl marks? I can see some old ones on my car from before i owned it and it pisses me off. But hey my paint aint too bad for a 5 year old driven car.
yup, i'd say about 95% are gone. He even taught me how to use the orbit thing, so I'm gonna get it for next time and go to town with it on my crappy old ford first.
