    Thanks to Scott Siegle

    and Will Mahan

    at SOG

The buyeye has a new leash on life. VF39, STI intercooler, 06 WRX injectors and a Perrin EBC.

I went from a Topspeed Stage 2, which was really fun (thats Doug  ) to a Stage 4. The lag difference is minor and the top end pull is so smooth and hard.

I was happy with the Stage 2 from Doug but at 90k I was ready to find out what all those swapped turbo people kept talking about. The bad news is I'll be switching from STX to SM and will most likely get owned by 15 year old Civics

Scott took good care of the car and road tunned the hell out of it (burned up an entire tank of gas!) to make sure it was Safe, Smooth and Stable.

I am currious what numbers I'm putting down, Scott guesses north of 270awhp and 290awlbft based on similar setups.

Will is a wrenching monkey  and hooked a brother up! That man had the stock turbo off in about 10 minutes!

Here's to hoping my clutch lasts :D

I have the same setup on my 03 performed by the same good people at SOG. Still waiting on a road tune from SS...I am excited to see the results of the road tune.

I'd still sell or keep it, either way.

No other fuel mods, although I should change the filter, lol

very nice..yea scott does amazing things. that seems like pretty high hp/tq for that turbo. I like to see a dyno.

Those are good numbers. I'm a little suprised that a VF39 would do that on a 2 litre block.

I think at the last dyno day it was 297/282

can you explain how you got top feed injectors to work on a side feed setup? i was discussing this with someone the other night and they told me it was impossible. thats why all these years the wrx had to get pinks cause they where side feed unlike the usdm sti top feed.

i thought u could do that by replacing the fuel rails

Just out of curiosity, did the VF39 require any mods to be made other than the pinks and EM? Any mods to exhaust or intake tracks?

no changes to the fuel rail, just drop in the 06 wrx injectors (blue)

    I haven't done a fuel pump yet

you've got it backwards. USDMSTI is side-feed, WRX is top-feed

backwards or not the 06 wrx and sti both have the same type injectors how did you put them on your 02-03? i mean the 06 wrx and the sti share the same 2.5 block. right?

because the pinks are the JDM injectors which are top fed verses the USDM ones....?....this is some good info here..

yes. the pinks that go on the 2 liter sti are topfeed verses the 2.5 usdm sti side feed. i know i said it backwards but the question is still the same. from what i was lead to believe the 06 wrx has the same side feed as the usdm sti. is this true?
