Will the stock exhaust from an 06 STI fit an 06 wrx?I thought that I remembered reading that the down pipe is not interchangeable.
I have read that the diameter of the system is slightly larger.I am going with the budget exhaust.Used STI hand me downs.

might need a sti donut gasket but thats it i believe. 06silver bullet is putting a sti catback on his wrx wagon tonight so he would be the person to ask how it went.

It fits just fine. Wrx's and Sti's share the same midpipe so the axleback portion will bolt right up. Just make sure you change out the gasket so it seals and you dont have an airy leaky sound.

well kinda. he's got some hearing loss to the point of maybe needing a hearing aid so the loud cb agravates it.

on a side note might wanna make sure you get some extra tention bolts. the ones with the springs on them that hold the catback to the mid pipe. 2 times recently ive heard of them breaking and having to be jerry rigged til they could buy the proper parts.;)

Thanks to GPJamesMVT for the STI exhaust system. Only installed axle-back part. Sounds better + can now hear engine running. Feels a little quicker.Like maybe 3-5 more hp.

The midpipe looks basically the same except the resonator is slightly different.Next is cobb ap then hi flow downpipe. Should I try to find a larger midpipe?Still using original.
    Any input out there???
