It was great seeing everyone again and it was nice meeting the new people this past weekend. The Atlanta Subaru crowd rocks.

I have only one complaint. To the owner of the blue STi with blue tinted windows that I parked next to at D&B's Friday night.....your attitude was unaccounted for and not what I feel the WRXAtlanta crew wants. You flat out insulted my sponsor Steve (owner of the CF NSX) with the smart comments you made to him. He is a very professional guy and he was just insulted and discouraged with your attitude. That comment "Dude you know you want to race me bc I'll wax your @$$" was just STUPID.....grow up.

delette: my personal apology to you and steve for the attitude you received from one of our members... please be assured that this is not a common attitude on WRXatlanta... the majority of us are not street racers and all the members that i know personally are very friendly... i hope steve does not have a bad impression of us as a whole

to the guy in the blue STi: i dont know who u are and how long u have been a member... please realize that this is a friendly community... i know that i have no control over what you say/do off this forum... however, in the future, if your attitude is detrimental to our image, you will no longer be welcome here

I believe the Blue STi with Blue Tinted windows was Justin from either LA or KY. He seemed to be a little fast and Furious at D&B. He was looking for a race that night and I told him flat out that we don't condone street racing and he would be hard up to find a race from any of our members.

Obviously, he is not really a part of WRXatlanta, and does not know our take on illegal street racing, or it would not have happened.

Your friend with the NSX was a really cool guy. I talked to him, and told him how much I loved his car. Unfortunately, NSXs are extremely underpowered for what they are, but as he told me, he was hoping to pick up a supercharger off someone that just wrecked their NSX. I hope he makes it back down here with the Supercharger next year. I would love to see his car again.

Did anyone get any good pics of the NSX?

He knows that and commented at how great the rest of you guys are. He commented on how we need a big import community here in SC but the community isn't as big as Atlanta due to to the sheer number of people that live there. We had a blast. I told Steve that guy was most likely a drifter that saw the g2g and tagged along. There is one in every crowd.

The Supercharger kit Steve was talking about is the Comptech kit that was on a NSX here in Myrtle Beach. We are desperately trying to get in touch with the guy before insurance takes his car.

Oh look in my journal for pics of the NSX. Thread title is "The White Beast"

That's surprising. I met that guy at D&B and once again at NOPI and he was quite friendly. Did something by chance, prompt this?

Talk to your buddy Delette and let him know that you guys can use our SC sub-forum to help build your community and get it off the ground.

that nsx was so sweet, i was admiring all the carbon fiber parts. Anyone know if those CF parts are made of 100% dry fiber that's molded or is it the regular CF thats layed over filber glass? One way or the other, I still think it's awesome and simply want to know more about it.

    great to meet everyone

It's 100% dry fiber. Also that car can never have the CF taken off.....it's permanently molded to the unibody of it. I am in love with that NSX....lol

do you know how much weight the dry fiber saved? did it ever go on a scale? It is interesting that the CF is permentently molded, it would be quite inconvenient to fix a damaged part

It was great meeting all of you once again. It was cool that we had members from all around the southeast. I went out there not knowing a lot of people, but the forum and all the members always have the welcoming environment. Delette, congrats to you and your team for the award. The owner of the nsx (i'm sorry for having bad memory), he was a great guy and very nice car by the way. Coming from a long history of Acura and Honda lover, that was definitely one of the finest.

Kudos to you all again for putting up a great turn out. It definitely look a lot like a subaru car dealership =). Thanks all for a great turn out and hope to meet more of you all in the future.

It was great meeting you as well Ava. Steve really enjoyed that short meet. We were dead tired and had been fighting traffic all day plus we had Steve's kids with us.

Blindfold the dry fiber saved a bit of weight over the other kind but it actually added weight to the car. NSX is just like the Subies....all aluminum. The factory panels were LIGHT! But Steve is a sucker for CF and he wanted to be original....I think he achieved that!
