Not one that belonged to someone, or even in GA. But I thought screw it. She was sitting there so I had to get a shot. This was taken at Tocoma Subaru-Nissan in Washington State.
man I want one of those...if only they still made a bugeye STi limited  Edit: oh man...no devil smiley?
I don't think the limited is worth the extra money, and I don't like the white color. I heard someone describe it as "bukkake white" last night. They just need to bring over the SpecC RA... -- Brian
I saw a couple articles but couldn't figure out why people are crazy about this car, so please enlighten me of my unimformed facts. The only different between the limited and the STi is the wheels (new design alloy and perhaps wider base?), seat heaters (leather?), looks (new tail, lips, and badges). Anything else am i missing?
I see, what is the price retail different between it and the regular STi. Isn't it like 4000 more or something like that?
Yea the cost is about what you'd pay for a paint job, leather seats, sunroof option and wheel upgrades for any car i looked a while ago i think it's somethin around 4k. But why get leather seats when you're just gonna make some passengers pee their pants?
No you guys missed one very cool thing. An STi front lip also comes with it. Don't get me wrong though. I am completely impartial when it comes to this cars lil run. I love it because it's a badass Sube but whether or not it should have happened is for the consumers to decide, the people who buy them. I did like the lip though. It's basically a matte black plastic lip with the STi badge in the center. It's probably not worth what you'd pay for it but it was still really nice IMO.
I won't be happy until they offer a version that actually have performance upgrades over the current STi, and not just extra weight and luxury features. SpecC RA is what I think they should bring over -- Brian
It also has that sexy little rear spoiler too. Definitely the best looking one you could put on a suby IMO.
haha, I see no reason to tone down the STi. I think that the wing is a huge part of the personality of the car. I didn't like it at first, but after owning the car for a while, I couldn't respect it without the wing. IMO, if you don't want a wing and want leather/sunroof shit, buy a wrx or LGT... -- Brian
Yeah, but then you wouldn't get the performance Personally I'd rather not have the wing. While I do respect it, I just don't feel it's necessary on anything other than a rally car. As for toning down the sti, I just think of it as a G35 vs. a 350z. You can still go fast, but you sacrifice a little bit of that performance (an extremely small amount) for a slightly nicer car. It's not marketed towards a die-hard racer. However, I would also rather have a spec c Oh and pEd, I think he's calling you out.
I think we all should be glad subaru is attempting to run limited editions here in the states for the first time
It's true! IMO Subaru's endeavors here in the USDM has produced some of the best results to date, like the EJ25 for example. :bigthumb:
This makes me sad..:wtc: It really is one thing that I'm very glad I did. I do agree about the leather and sunroof though.
The Limited wing is kinda cheesey though IMO. I thought it was gonna be cooler than it is but it's basically just a little hump that was bolted onto the trunk. There's a third brake light in the back dash but to me, nothing short of molding that new wing into the trunk would make it look good....... IMO. The funny thing is this car is GOING to perform just as well as any other STi without the gargantuan wing and vortex generator.
