When I talked to Joyce earlier this week, she said she had already processed the refunds ... I'll try to call her when I get done with work.. hopefully she will be around
So any ideas about infield passes? I'll be there only for saturday, however I will try to get there reasonably early in the morning.
There seems to be a misunderstanding here... i have 20 infield parking passes for those in the corral list... you do not have to pay extra for these... those who have already purchased their passes, can hang on to them... Joyce said that she would issue refunds to those on the list and I can return extra passes to her.... I shall call her tomorrow and clarify things
Wait, so do we have to pick them up from you before the event? (the infield passes that is), or will they be at will call?
we'll have 4 or 5 evo's showing up at various different days. all of us will show up friday night and saturday all day. I'll be there for thursday night practice. hope to see you guys there!
i'll be there saturday, see ya then sung to all: important update in the first post... those buying tickets now onwards need to speak to Jacqueline.
It got worked out. She just did the refunds later than when I had purchased the tickets, but the refund posted to my account. Thanks for looking out.
yes... however im trying to get a hold of joyce to see if we can have people pick them up at will call instead (as was the original plan)
ANNOUNCEMENT: After trying to settle the infield parking pass situation with road atlanta, here's the best solution we managed to come up with. This only applies to those who are registered to park in the corral. The list of those applicable is in the first post.: Those who have received parking passes in the mail: This is the parking pass you will use to enter Road Atlanta. You should have a refund of $25 by now. You will not receive an extra parking pass from me. Those who have not received a parking pass in the mail: I have parking passes for you. For those showing up on Saturday: I am going to caravan with a group early Saturday morning. If you make it to the caravan, you can collect your parking pass from me. The remaining parking passes will be left at Will Call in an envelope with your name on it. This way, those who show up late will have parking passes waiting for them. For those showing up before Saturday: You will need to coordinate a time to meet with me and pick up your parking passes. Please send me a PM and we could work something out. I would rather not mail it out since there is no guarantee that it will reach you in time. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
That seems like a good plan. Any idea what time on Sat? I only live 7 or so miles away, so it will be easy for me to meet you guys at RA.
thanks... it seemed like the best solution considering the last minute nature... i assure everyone, next year, things will be much smoother as for the caravan, we plan to leave the perimeter mall area by 7am sharp... if we don't hit any traffic, i believe we could make it to RA around 7.45am
Thats a little hard for me. I live like 2 hours away. I really can't just take time out of work... Maybe you could make an exception for me, because I plan to be there Friday morning early. Unless you are stopping somewhere near the track for breakfast/gas.
exactly... we can't cook out or anything... also remember that those registered to be in the corral get a $12 food/drink coupon... its not much but its something
i'm going to try and sneak out there on Friday. depends on what time i get back from Montgomery. i'm soo stoked about this weekend! see ya'll there!
I'll have a 'Mule' with two chairs in the bed of it if anyone wants to go from turn to turn with me and my girl
I just realised, I have no idea where the heck the corral is. There will be a lot of people there, so I don't want to ride around forever looking for you guys. Anyone know where its at?
When you go through the gates, go up the big hill and turn left, stay on that road and look for a Subaru logo on the left (probably after the intersection, it'll have orange fencing)
Well I was going to drive over for this event, but I had to replace my alternator yesterday so that put a $200 hole in my pocket.
If you have paid Milo for the corral, we have roped off the entrance so that other cars can't park in there, so when you get there just move the rope and pull in.
I just paid Jacqueline earlier via phone...I just need to pick up my ticket at Will-Call tomorrow morning. Are we anywhere near where the Porsches are?. My friend's boyfriend, Mike McManus used to race for Leaping Lizards... Mark
ANNOUNCEMENT: All those on the corral list showing up at the caravan tomorrow can pick up their parking passes and food coupons from me. For those on the list showing up at Road Atlanta directly, I plan to leave the remaining parking passes at Will Call in envelopes with your names on them. You will need to pick up your food coupons directly from me. I should be hanging out around the corral until the start of the PLM race at noon.
I had a great time today! Thanks for everyone that helped make this happen. I'll make sure to get the pics my friend took up as soon as I get them. Now I just have to recover from the ridiculous sunburn I recieved from being outside from sunrise to sunset, being irish, and being too forgetful to think about sunblock.
Had a great time! Thanks to those who helped get this together!:bigthumb: on a side note-really wasn't too bad getting out when it ended. I wasn't going to stay until the end, but it ended without me knowing. Figured it out when fireworks started going off.
