dont use those crappy blue/ultrawhite bulbs in ga....you can't see anything in the rain

Yellowfogs you can use any yellow bulb like Nokyas and yellow film over the foglights. It comes out really yellow. Won't look like an IS300 cause it's a bigger foglight and less focused

Don't buy Sylvania Silverstars unless you like replacing $25 (each) dollar bulbs every few months.

I had the worst experience with those things on the '04 WRX

I've had these in my car for over a year with no problems. Although I have heard many people having problems with them. Maybe it's a issue with different years?

I hope with the HID kit you're going to retrofit some projectors in there.....otherwise you're going to blind oncoming traffic and get ticketed if a cop calls you on it

Allow me to clarify, you do not have to have projectors to use HIDs. However, you must have the proper reflectors to do so. For example, look at the 2004-05 STis. They use HIDs w/o projectors. How? The housing itself is designed to focus the HID beams forward and not just illumintate the housing. What does that mean? If you look at the cars which throw a HID kit on without the properness, not only is their housing bright as day, but they throw virtually no light down the road.

So, in short, here's what I recommend you do. IIRC, you have an 04 wrx. If I am wrong, then the following does not apply.

Here's one thread of HID projectors retrofitted into an 04 setup: http://www.wrxatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=731&highlight=projector

And here's a whole schlew of information on IWSTi about it:

You can get the yellow covers for the fogs at SOG. They do look really good IMO and they shine a pretty nice yellow.

I forget how much they were but I believe it was pretty reasonable. Here's a lil bit of how they look:

I guess the quality of the silverstars is somewhat hit and miss. I do like how bright they are, but my particular set didnt last long at all.
