Very cool event huh? I watched a bunch of it live on Speed yesterday. I just turned it to Speed and I knew it was Road Atlanta as soon as I saw the red clay dirt around the track.
Awesome event, yes! I went last year for the first time, but this year I did much more 'exploring' - paddock/pit area, spectated from most of the turns, etc. AND, the addition of the WRXAtlanta corral this year was great! lostinthewoods and I have already talked about attending the full 4 days next year. I think we'll need a bigger corral next year...and a big tent and HUGE WRXAtlanta flag(s)!!! :bigthumb: Yes...that Georgia red clay is all over the bottom of my Puma's (swapped them out after only 5 mins in the corral) and it is coated all over the tops and bottoms of the spare running shoes! Oh well...it was well worth it.

nice pics guys!! enjoyed hanging out and the corral was much better when full. looks like that srt4 wasn't "t3h f4st3r" in the pic with it running off the track.
i didnt either until Dellwin told me about it... when u come in from the entrance, it was on the right side of the road just before u turn left onto the suzuki bridge
That's awesome Milo! :bowdown: I drove right passed it and missed it. Greg great track shots! I think hanging at turn 7 was one of my favorite moments...heavy breaking and acceleration of the turn AND lots of glowing rotors by sunset! GREAT, GREAT time!
Those are some really great shots...I had so much fun at this event...This was probably one of the coolest g2g's and also the group photo shoot back in Dec.05 at RA. I will always remember this. I am also glad that I bought hearing protection for 1.00!!. The Panoz cars and corvettes are soooo loud... The caravan was fun too and it was great seeing everybody...I really enjoyed hanging out with you all... Mark

yeah my pops told me they he changed it from "subaru" to "wrxatlanta." i was stoked too, to see it when i was there! i sure had a sweet ass time. i can't wait till next year!
tell ur dad thanks... when i gave them our logo, they told me they were planning on running the subaru logo... guess they changed their mind at the last minute
the best shots I got all weekend. my camera has much suck. It's an OLDER (circa 2004) kodak digicam. And it's EVER so slow. most of the other pics I got were blank empty track pics. I did get two of the same shot, one with cars, one without. looks freaky playing them on slideshow one after the other. :rofl:

Also, I stopped by the car corral. Talked to DeweyWRX I think. I was a little drunk at that point in time. On my walk back to the basecamp, I spotted my ex and her new b/f.... kept on walkin though
Yep, that was me. Haha, you caught me listening to the Tech game on the radio. Oh, and great call on just walking past the ex, and props that you were able to do so while being drunk.
^^I saw your Suby there. I really liked it. Mine was the black WRX that was parked a few spaces down on Friday. I think we sat like right in front of you at turn 10a.
Yeah I talked to you for a minute in the corral didn't I? I liked the fact that 3 black bugeyes were representing. I've gotta say, your wrx is making me reconsider gold wheels. And you may have been in front of me at 10a, me and my friend were there at a couple different times during the day.
I saw that mini! Was really cool. I thought it was a modified golf car at first :rofl: Then I realised what it was. was out by turns 6 & 7 I believe
The Mini was rocking! Yes, on the way up to turn 7. There was a funny sticker on the back window...damn, it has escaped me. I only remember laughing at...anyone else see it?
