That fucker must be heavy as shit to run a 16+ sec 1/4 mile with 320hp. edit: 4200 lbs + driver and 320hp with a 25% drivetrain loss should still yield a mid-15... not impressed. Hell, my 260hp 4600 lbs Roadmaster would own it.
That's a lot of money for shaving .9 second off of your 1/4 mile. I mean, it's still pretty cool, but just don't think that it's worth it.
Just take off the 20's and throw on some 17 or 18's there's your bit more hp right there I would drive that thing out of town in a minute!!
Wonder why they did not go turbo...think reworked pistons, lower the compression, slap a big turbo on there...500 hp would be easy!
Umm, can you say sleeper. It is certainly more show than go...I would like to see a little more go. Subaru has turbo-ed everything else, why not the Tribeca. On a good note, this is just a start; think about the possibilities...soccer Moms cruising Atlanta streets yelling at their kids, talking on their phones all in pimped out Cobb tuned Tribeca's. Ummm...scary, yet oh so cool.
That is scary...soccer moms in large vehicles scare me. I think they all should be limited to compact cars so they can't do so much damage.
Someone should just put a Ruf tuned Cayenne motor in there and call it a day. (Yes I was just kidding)
one reason they have big SUV's... cause their husband doesn't trust them to drive safe, so the next best thing is a safe vehicle for them... Hey there pot. I'm kettle! *coughsuburbanturbodieselcough*
hehe, yeah. the turbo diesel is a great suburban. We've had the standard suburban before, but the TD is not only more powerful, but better on gas mileage. Its fricken huge too.
