I am looking to change the plugs again. I went with the NGK Ir's before, and there was nothing really special about them for the price. I want to do something that is a lot cheapier, but will still give a really strong spark. It doesn't have to last more than 30k either. Any opinions on what you use or have heard would help. The plug needs to be available also. I don't want to have to wait a week.
go with CHEAP NGK copper plugs. You just need to change little more often. (mostly every 7k-10k miles)
Cool, that is what I was thinking also. I am not concerned about longevity, which is why the Pt's and Ir's were made. I actually enjoy changing the plugs and enjoy the responsiveness of new plugs.
NGK bkr7es also known as 3330's thats what we made 407hp with on a stock EJ205. Gap them down to 28 and let it ride. Matt
Correct, one step colder than stock. Matt For you guys in the 200-250 range you can probally gap them out to about 30 but if you are making more than 250 then I would go ahead and gap them down to 28.
