Originally I had a slanted exhaust that sounded decent.

Catless, 3 inch turbo back. However, I wasnt really too keen on the look for my wagon. So I decided to go oval.

NEW SETUP: Full 3 inch Turbo Back, No muffler, Resonated Oval Tip.

Here are the pictures. The videos are below these.

    Now for the Videos.

Take note on this Drive away, how you can still hear my car and not even see it. LOL Talk about anti stealth :lmfao:

LOL Thanks man. When I go into work, I never go past 20 mph cause of damn Atlanta traffic :-\

I had the exhaust shop build this custom axle back to bolt onto my existing turbo back, and it was worth the 80 bucks I spent for sure! Some say its really loud and they dont like it, but Ive always like agressive and loud.

Good stuff man. Looks really clean with the wagon too. You're probably going to confuse a lot of people now. You'll be in traffic with a bunch of cars and everyone wonder "wtf is so loud!?" :)

Now I like that. Good thing my muffler is a slip on at the axle back. May see what it does....lol. Anyways what would a cop say if he was behind ya and saw that jammer? Couldn't you get in trouble for that?

Good luck with that as you just may be surprised. From experience if I got caught speeding with a simple detector in the car I got no break at all. Since I quit using them years back, I have been pulled over twice and given warnings both times.

You all must have missed this post.

Most radar detectors you can buy at any wal-mart or retail store are junk anyways . Plus detectors or jammers are legal in Georgia. Look it up.

I sped by a GSP this morning going almost over 85mph, and he tagged me. Didnt even look at me twice.

So yeah, Ive had great luck with that so far :) NO its not my excuse to speed, but when I havent been paying attention, its saved me almost 600 in tickets so far.

THIS IS NOT A RADAR DETECTOR !

Regardless, if they look at you speeding by they can determine whether or not they want to pull you over.

    Anyways, how's the in-cabin drooooooooone ?

Where does it state they can just "look" at how fast they think you are going and give you a speeding ticket? Just curious. IIRC you would either have to be clocked or they would have to pace your vehicle to get any sort of speeding ticket. Barring the fact of course if you are driving wrecklessly and then they could cite you for something else. But telling if someone is going over 15mph the speed limit just by eyeballing it doesnt seem right.

In Cabin drone isnt bad at all. The bit it does drone, I really enjoy. Still nowhere as near as loud as my other car. :ddirty:

traffic court is usually in favor of the officer... unless you have a good lawyer

if i remember correctly, demonstration of acceleration, even if you are alone on the road and are under the speed limit, can be considered racing :dunno

You're right, it's not fair, but I've had a friend pulled over for speeding in a school zone and the cop didn't even have a radar detector. He ended up having to write him up for wreckless driving (which was bullshit), but it's still a ticket none the less.

Your word vs an officer's buddy. Who you think will be believed in court?

Also here in SC rapid sudden acceleration is considered racing. It's actually worded as "Reckless Endangering Acceleration". I got one in my old DSM about 4 years ago and I wasn't spinning tires or anything....just punched the gas and got up to the speed limit.....in about 3 seconds..:eek:hnoes:

    First, Im not your buddy.

Second, Ive gotten out of two speeding tickets actually because the officer had no proof of speed as well. They can not simply "slap" wrestless driving on the ticket.

Oh well, :wavey: You all go ahead and get scared everytime you a cop on the side of the road.

I'm pretty sure he was referring to the judge as the officer's buddy....but I could see it taken your way as well and be somewhat offensive...that's not his intent I'm sure....I'd like to see your set-up sometime in person...sounds really interesting....I've been watching Fareed's Mischief series DVDs and it seems like they would use similar set-ups on thier players runs and cannonball runs....

Sorry if I offended you and I didn't mean it in that way at all. I was just using that as a 'slang' which is part of our vocabulary here.

I'll drop it after saying this but I was just citing what I have experienced in the past. Cops have slapped me and others I know with tickets with no evidence. It sucks and it isn't fair but in reality we were speeding and we should not have been. Its great you got out of them but I just hate to see a fellow Subie owner walk around with that attitude thinking if they can't have 'hard' evidence then they can't nail them. Well sometimes the cards just don't fall like we feel they should and we get hit pretty hard....sometimes losing your license and car.

Regardless your setup is very interesting and cool and I wouldn't mind having it myself. Again sorry if I offended ya.

Sounds good on an engine big enough to make some proper noise, sounds like crap on a small 4-banger IMO. I love the boxer rumble, but the louder you try to make it the more it starts sounding like a riced Civic running on 3 cylinders.
