Varsity 10/05/2006

Another month another meet. Whos going? I probably am even though honestly I'm getting bored of it pretty quickly.

It's a meet once a month with a lot of car people from all around Atlanta. Lots of nice cars and lots of ricers too. Just recently started doing burn out contests. Starts at around 8pm lasts till about midnight. The video was made before summer.

Hmm, it has a much bigger and more diverse turn out than I would expect. I guess varsity is fine with it? Never get kicked out of the parking lot or anything? I live so freaking close it's hard to justify not going at least once. We'll see...

 

i usually go but i only stay for an hour or two, i dont stay long.

 

Varsity actually hates it....the august meet they had towtrucks out there waiting

 

I heard they charge $5 to park now so they should be cool now that they makin money off it, so many people called me about being out there last time Gonna try and make it out but I wont stay long eithier

 

the time before last or something they tried to pull that but this month nothing happened. That would suck though.

 

This time I'll try to find you guys and say whats up :wavey:

 

Last time I want they didn't charge money for parking. (sept.)

 

They have two section of parking, from what I can tell. If you arrive early and park before the down ramp, you could park for free, but the minute you enter down that ramp to the big lot, they will ask you for money.

 

I am gonna try and make this one. I always park on the upper deck for free....haven't had to pay yet....

yep, i will be there, yeah just show up either early or come in the side entrance from that one-way street and you will not have to pay. i'll see you there...

 

i'll be there like always haven't missed one all year =) they threaten w/ tow trucks but i doubt they ever will its a privately owned lot now so varsity doesn't really have a say, i just pay the 5 bucks, shit its 5 bucks deal with it =)

I'll be there and work permitting possibly covered in mud.

 

I'll be there fo sho this time. I'll be comming up with a couple of buddies one with a evo 9 mr and the other with a 06 sti. We have never been before but it sounds sweet

I might make it...went a few months ago and only saw two subies :hsugh: What time range are most of you going to be there? 7-8? Look for the stock black '05 WRX with an ugly straight pipe sticking out

I think most people don't show up until later. Usually around 9-10ish.

 

I won't be showing up till at least 9.

P.S. did any of you watch the video on the first post? What do you think?

 

I'll def. be there not sure what time but if you want a parking spot you need to be there btw 8-9 after that good luck parking =) I have been there every month for so long and will be there again i've still yet to meet anyone but matt on here i believe

i was there from 9 to 10:30. Saw a lot more subbies than before but didn't recgonize. Didn't try to say hi either ('cept Alex). and LOL at the "RICE" sign during the burn outs. And that one piece of tire that flew up in the sky and flew back 50 feet.
