I need to know what will and will not work for my06 wagon in terms of sways. I would like a relatively large (24mm) adjustable front bar and a comparable rear bar (22-24-26 adjustble). I need to know some of your setups and how they have worked out for you. Basically any info you have to offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys, Greg

I used the 27-29 mm bar on the front and the 22-24-26 on the rear. I love the setup because it's completely safe and the car really doesn't roll much at all. It tends to be a little on the understeering side but again that's why it's safe. I'm constantly adjusting my RSB though. I can't decide if I like the stiffest setting or not.

27-29 on both ends, the car will still understeer slightly but you can still get the car to rotate with the proper throttle input

Whiteline is the best in swaybars in my opinion. Go with the 22-26 adj. Its your best option without getting crazy. Keep it on its hardest setting for daily driving. You won't see any snap oversteer or other crazy handling characteristics. I have seen the 27-29 Whiteline on www.gruppe-s.com, but check out the forum vendors first.

    Hello Greg:

I am very happy with my Whiteline Front and Rear Sway Bars. I have the 22-24 in front and 24-26 in back. I have an 06 Wagon also.

I enjoy frequent mountain runs and am interested in some autocross (although probably not competitve) and I can't wait to take my car to a track day at Road Atlanta or other road course. Mostly though I just want a seriously fun daily driver.

06silverbullet, I have been considering this exact setup and unless convinced otherwise will be going this route in the next few weeks. I think it sounds like the best solution to my needs.

Also, what endlinks are you guys using? I have heard good things about the Kartboy droplinks and am planning on ordering them when I order my bars. I just heard that they are nice and strong and, more importantly to me for my DD, nice and quiet.

The kartboy rear endlinks that I got were noisy till I sprayed the crap out of them with Lithium Grease. The stuff that comes with the swaybar just won't cut it. But ever since I triple checked the torque settings with a new torque wrench and sprayed them, it's been very very quiet.

rear kartboy endlinks have some dimension issues
I prefer Poltec for the cost and function

This is true, it worked fine on my 06 WRX, but it is a little bit shorter than stock, so it might cause problems with a wagon.

They now have the wagon endlinks listed on their website. I don't know exactly what the difference is but they are specifically listed for wrx wagon. Are you sure that the issues that you have heard of weren't from a wagon owner using sedan links? Just a question.

Mark, where did you find the adjustable 22-24mm front bar for the wagon?

you can never be sure till you do them yourself because a lot of variations and opinions online and not all you read is true. So No i cannot be sure but just the caution flag. thats is why buying from places like NASIOC has risks.

The biggest bars you can put on the wagon are the 22-24 front and the 22-26 rear. I would probably suggest the 22-24 front and either the 20-24 or 22-26 rear. Either would get you enough adjustability to get what you want. If you are going to auto-X go ahead and get the 22-26 rear. You'll want that to get it 'round an a-x course.

The Whiteline end-links seem to work perfectly well. We've got it all in stock...
