Hey Alex, you driving in the morning session? I really want to ride along and see how the speed ripple affects the handling of the car. :keke:

But seriously, who's doing the morning run that doesn't mind some extra weight in the car?

sweet.... im in the morning session (running BSP in yellow group)... its gonna be a fun day... autoX in the morning followed by the final formula 1 race in the afternoon :bigthumb:

at the last event, i was the official taxi with 4 people in the car almost every run... in fact i didn't even run once alone :p... i don't see that changing next time around either

whoever wants a ride along just look for this car

Sure, except, I can only take 1 person until I roll the rear fenders. Maybe I will get a chance to do that next week :sx:

Since I don't want to run in the morning (ESP), I'm going to register as N2 since I never have auto-x'd before.

i wanna come and spectate. is it same cost$$ ?

Also, whats their filming policy, if any? If any of you have a camcorder to bring, I'll be happy to shoot and produce dvds for you/upload since I don't wanna run. I have video editing gear, but no cameras. ;p

As for filming. It is ok, as long as you are not riding along with someone.

I think they made an announcement last week saying no cameras in the car unless it is mounted. Maybe I am just hallucinating though.

I am fairly certain it has to be mounted, check the rule book for additional information. Oh, and I am registered.

If you read the rules, it says that cameras must be mounted:

    3.3.3 Section B, Rule #1

If the tech inspector/safety steward deems the mount to be secure and sufficient, then it should be fine.

We had a camera suctioned to mere's car for a few events in the past without any issues, using your mount :)

I am bringing mine, but I will be running brian's cam with my mount in car. You're more than welcome to use my digicam though for outside footage.

Hey guys, what things do I need to know if I'm just showing up to watch, meet folks and ride along?

Also, I'm bringing the other Sous Chef from the restaurant along with me, he owns a 06 WRB WRX.

Well I registered for this. I'm not 100% certain that I'll make it. But this weekend looks like it might be pretty boring so I could use this activity to spice it up a little.

Yes they did make an announcement last time about no camcorders in car unless they were mounted.. The reason for that is b/c the guy in the white honda delsoul with the extreme body roll's buddy was filiming holding the camera out of the roof... There are some people in this world who just shouldn't be allowed outside..

urgh, got a bad cold right now so I probably won't make it. Plus SoG still has my car and I'd feel bad auto-x'ing their loaner...

I'm really hoping when I take my car in to get the roof sprayed all the loaners are out and they tell me to take the blue STI with the roll cage.

Even though I'm not going to run my car (don't know if I ever will until I'm out of warrenty) I'm really excited about seeing what it's like pushing some of these cars to their limit.

I'll bring some coffee tomorrow morning.

Though I inteded to run in the morning thinking I wouldn't show up till the morning. My friend just called and is going to make me come in the morning. So I'll be there all day. Again, I'm in novice 2.
