You have to take the headlights out, remove all the bulbs and wiring harness, put them in the oven at about 275 degrees for 20 min. and then pry the clear face off of the housing. unscrew the silver surround and the amber lense and then paint them black

Looks nice man. It took me forever to grow the balls to bake my headlights, but once I finally did, I was very satisfied with the results.

Yeah, I was little nervous, but I did it on my old integra, so I kinda knew what to expect. These headlights are a BITCH to get in and out though

I did mine on my 03 but i only backed them for about 10 min. If you do this make sure you seal them when you put the headlight back togther.

On the 06' there is tons of sealant already in there, so if you don't reseal them, you should be ok. I just ran a bead around them just in case anyway though

so this isn't outside film...hmmm very nice!! you should have replaced the amber bulb with a silver tipped amber one instead IMO...but looks cool for sure...I baked my first set of headlights...it definitely takes some balls the first time doing it unless you have the funds to replace them if you screw up...

I agree with losing the amber thing... I'm debating on doing what you did or buying tint overlays... There's a vendor selling them on IWSTI.com and they look pretty sweet..

I love free mods, just like my air box. You were free too, but we won't talk about that ;) I'll be at the car show on Nov. 4th, look for the thread in the G2G section

I'm going to change the HID bulbs also, they're still pretty yellow once they warm up
