I really appreciate this guys...It is going to be really hard to leave GA. I accepted an Optical Engineer position in Columbia,S.C. with SCANA. My start date is 12/4/06. It should be a great environment with a lot of challenges. I have to go to SC next week sometime to get my badge, meet the staff, get clearances,etc. I am hoping to set up some meets in Columbia or meet up with some Suby enthusiasts in that area. It is contract to perm after 6 months also. I am going to miss you all...you are like a second family to me....

I get out of school at around 6:30 commin from the south side may be a lil after but I will be there.

It's not going to be the same without another 06 CGM wagon to look at all the time. I don't even know ya and I'm gonna miss ya.

I totally agree Robert...I just met this really nice woman also...but she said that she will come and visit and vice-versa...She is a school teacher in Cartersville...I am very excited about the move and also meeting the staff at SCANA. I am going to the facility in Columbia next week. At the same time I am going to miss the forums, but I am sure that there are a few folks that are happy to see me leave....but you know what....I really don't care....LOL...

I will still be on the forums....and also will come back to GA every few months when I have time off. I just got a call from a recruiter today about a government contract with ITT Industries which is part of ITT Systems in Hawaii. I am going to fill out the application and see what happens. It is a 1 year contract in Kekaha,HI. I could stay there permanently if I wanted to also. They have a relocation package also....I may take this one over the SC one...We will see what happens...the position is supporting the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF).
