Where did you find out about WRXatlanta? Google search. Howdy folks. Picked up an 05 wagon last Saturday from Troncalli. I bought it as an all weather daily with some get up. I also own an S2000 which is my sunny day/track day ride. After buyin the S, I couldn't stand driving my SUV so I sold it for the WRX. The WRX is a fun car with totally different characteristics than the Honda. What a blast going heavy throttle out of a wet corner and not losing traction. See ya around. Matt
Hello all in WRXatlanta land My name on here is swede978 and I am part of RS25, NASIOC and legacygt. I live in western NC about two hours away from ATL. I have a 99RS in Aspen White and is somewhat modded. My other is a 01 Legacy wagon in Timberline Green and is somewhat modded. I am into Go and Show. My next project is to insert a 06 STI drivetrain into the RS and repaint the Aspen with a blue pearl coat. I buy my parts from whoever is cheap! Thanks for having me Erik

Hey all. Just bought my WRX a couple of weeks ago, and figured I'd go ahead and introduce myself. My previous car was a 1997 Mazda Miata, which was my pride and joy, until I got rear-ended and the car was totalled by insurance. I narrowed down my new-car list to a 2006 Miata, a 2006/7 WRX, and a 2004 Honda S2000. The fixed-top won out, strangely enough.. Maybe working for the owner of SOG (at another of his dealerships) had something to do with it. Ended up getting a great deal on the car. Anyway.. on to the questions! Where do you live? Atlanta. Buckhead, more precisely. What do you drive? A 2006 Obsidian Black Pearl WRX-TR. How modded is your ride? I just bought it, so not much yet. I've got the SPT intake on it so far. Next comes a Cobb Catback exhaust. Then maybe some wheels. Where do you usually buy parts? Haven't bought anything other than the intake, which I picked up at SOG. Do you visit any other local boards? Just NASIOC, I guess. And a private board for my track driving club. Show, Go, or Stock and staying that way? Go, go, go. At least in the future. Neewbie Intro Hello Folks, I am John Evans aka Laze1. Live in Fayetteville, GA and drive a Honda S2000 today. I am a active member of the S2kAtlanta club. I track the car and do some Auto-x. I am a Manager with Verizon Wireless in Alpharetta (commute 120 miles a day in the S2000 now) I'm looking to buy a 2005 or newer STI in the near future. I want to learn all the good and bad things about the STI PRIORE to purchasing one. The reason I am selling the S2000 is that I am 6' 1" and my head sticks WAY over the roll bars even without a helment. I want to purchase a great street/track car that I can bolt in a cage with full racing seat and belts. The last couple of times on the track with the S2k, other folks have gone off big time and a couple rolled over....I went off but keep all 4 wheels pointed down So I am considering a STI or older M3, and other cars for track/daily drive duty maybe. I have seen BrianGT and Mere run that STI w/the S2kAtlanta club track events and I was very impressed (with the STI and Mere). Happy Turkey Day! Laze1

Yeah its a high maintence car if you do mods to it, but its all worth it to me. I just picked up my STI yesterday. Its a 06 Obsidian Black Pearl. l8r
