    It's a neat idea, but... 4" screen.

    You could probably roll your own without entirely too much effort. Imagine a decent size (10" widescreen maybe?) LCD, touch panel. Drag/drop and resize gauges with your fingertip. You just need a Linux box or something to drive it...

    actually now that you mention it, flash can turn data into graphic representation quite handily. it would just be a matter of finding the output source for the ECU data to flash.

    I like the universal hud stuff
    pioneer had something like this with the double din navy units I think
    very expensive to add it though

    You could use any of the open source loggers for reading the SSM data. :)

    Just stuff a tablet into your dash. Touch screen LCDs are expensive! Be just as much or less to get a tablet and get it in there somehow.


    The gauges really aren't all that new honestly. You can buy them for trucks with chips. Course it's a bit different but it's pretty similar.

    I haven't checked current pricing, but AllAmerican had some very nice prices on LCDs, both touch and non-touch last I checked...
