Had the day off work

  1. And sprayed my wheels a flat black with clear coat. Must say I like the new look rather than the gunmetal. Going to eventually get the side skirts painted, sedan fenders, V limited, and girlfriend is picking me up some STI front splitters.

Looks good, it'll be badass when you get the splitters and the side skirts. What springs are you on?

    Shoulda done it gold =P

  4. Yeah I really cant wait.

Right now Im on S-techs. I know I know they are looked down upon, but the ride isnt bad at all, for what I use my car for. I love them so far. Just didnt want to dive right in spend a grand on suspension just yet. But eventually these springs will be gone.

lol I did gold for a few weeks, but it started to get old to me :hs:

    I think that's the 1st wagon I'd consider hot.

very nice!! looks really good man. S Techs are ok. Ive had them for about 4 years. I need some new struts though to stiffin it up more. Im thinking KYB's or Koni's

    man you're crazy :hsnono:

    paint your skirts asap! ;)

  9. Definitly. I knew they werent a performance oriented spring when I bought them, so Im not dissapointed at all. However, it does feel a lot nicer than stock. Going into a corner at speed, or a sweeping turn, the stock suspension made the car feel like it was riding on air. Made it real intimidating to try and even attempt anything at all.

Id like to maybe get a Tein Flex system in the future or something similiar. But being an 04 Wagon Im pretty sure my strut options are limited to Koni cartridges in the stockers or stock strut replacements. I might just get stock replacements if I can get a hold of them for cheap.
