    I'M IN!!!
is there a way i can get the original file for the WRX mags so i can up-date my number? i can print out just the number at size and tape it to my old mag. So meredith doesn't have to fix it for me again this month.

Posting up a feeler. My tires are corded, and out of the kindness of Milos heart, he agreed to let me use his old wheels and tires, but he doesn't want me racing on them. I would love to run this last Auto X, missed every other one this season, but would need to be able to drive someones car. Would anyone be willing to let me use their car as a 2nd driver?

Nope, they updated the list with the 2 points events that were missing for me, as for some reason the car information containing the WRXatlanta didn't show up in the computer, so I now have 7 events showing, instead of only showing 5 last time.

The points are calculated with your best results from 6 out of the 10 events.

For the season points, they usually do the season total by halving the total number of events and adding one or two to this. This makes it fair for everyone, so that you can miss a few events, but still have a chance to win the points for the season. For the regular open classes, the class winners all compete against each other in the Champions of Champions event, which is this Sunday. They also have a class for everyone else who wants to go, called Best of the Rest.

I hope that we can get a big group of people going for this points series next season!

Can't wait to see you guys out there for this event. I am driving this car for the event, as my crx is still dead:

I thought it was 7. It's not half of events (rounded down) plus two?

If you old tires are corded, I wouldn't plan on using them, they most likely won't pass tech.

:) Just make sure the cords aren't showing or they won't let you run.

If you are not using uni-direction tires, and only one side is starting to cord, have the tires dismounted and flipped. I did it to the Hoosiers to get another 3 or 4 races out of them.

The rules explicitly say no cord showing, and if the safety stewards see them, you won't be around to run. (3.3.3.A.4)

I could also see it as a safety hazard if the rest of the tire decides to cord during the run...

True, but I guess its really the extent of the cord. I have had small spots of cord showing, but if its a huge stripe of cord then definitely not.

The cords are on the inside edge, so they won't see them. It is just little spots, I will see if I can post up pics in a minute.

Well guys I was really going to try to make it to this one. But between 2 concerts, a football game, and a plethora of friends coming into town, I don't think I'm going to be able to. So have fun without me.

    But....I guess I'll register....just in case. :)

I ran my old Re-070s corded for a full season (one tire). The front camber plate came loose and I had crazy negative camber but the center tread was still new. I moved the tire to the rear and never had a problem with it.

you pay only if you decide to run

based on your mods, i believe you will be in BSP... you will be in the first morning run group... be there before 8am

in the car model, put STi WRXatlanta

and if you want to support the club, put WRXatlanta in the sponsor field :)

you will be in street modified... :)

Crap, that sucks. I thought it was going to stay open later but I guess that they pulled up closing with it being a Saturday event, not a Sunday event. You can still come down for ride-alongs.
