So yeah, call me fickle. I've quickly grown tired of the stock suspension after selling my Bilsteins. So after much research, I have on order:

    Cobb Springs
    Cobb Sways
    Cobb Endlinks

    Also picking up,

    Cobb DP
    Cobb AP 2.0
    Greddy SP2 Catback

Springs no struts? Sounds like you will have some fun on that setup.

I'll wait until my stock struts wear out before thinking about replacements. Besides there aren't any for lgt's yet. Ohlins are vaporware and pricey.

I thought you'd already installed a Cobb dp?

I had, but when I was planning on trading months ago, it was sold. :squint:

    Ouch :keke:

Out of curiosity, what made you go with Cobb springs?

I like the Cobb's drop, around 30% stiffer, designed for use on stock struts, and nice price point. Also, based upon reviews, the springs w/ sways, should provide me with the setup I want. I guess time will tell.

What are the rates on the springs and the sizes of the sways out of curiosity?

Cobb Front 22mm hollow - 50% stiffer than stock
    Cobb Rear 22mm hollow - Adjustable 195% / 215% stiffer than stock
Cobb comes with rear reinforcement brackets because the LGT has flimsy OEM pieces of metal supporting the rear swaybar bushing brackets which have been known to bend/break on stock suspension.

    For comparison:
Whitelines LGT bars are 22/20 solid
Cusco LGT bars are 23/21 solid
Perrin LGT bars are 22/22 solid

All RSB on the LGT have fitment issues (ie. clunking) with both factory and aftermarket endlinks. Cobb's did at first, but they redesigned and replaced all that were in service.

There is no published info on the spring rates but they are progressive and most likely very close to stock. I'm getting them for the drop.

Well I installed the sways and endlinks today. What a difference! Just need to get the springs installed now.

  16. I assume those are grease fittings at the bushings...??
Were the stock endlinks at that angle??seems like they are twisted a lot.

Yes, grease fittings. Cobb does not have this issue on their own car but it's a different year. It's possible the 2005's have different mounting points. They are investigating.
