Umm just some suggestions... Window tint, powder coat rims, paint (side skirts, window trim), debadge, sound dampning?, oh yea can I get a t.v. on my gas tank door.
Seriously? Black out the existing emblems, but not completely and not permanently. Rather it would need to be kind of like tinting the existing badges so that from a distance they look black, but when you look close you can see the stars and stuff shining through. And, like any good mod, when you sell the car you can take it back to stock.
I tried this with the subaru (lettering) on the trunk with model paint and I started then just got scared and wiped it off. But if there is a way to black/tint the emblems that would be sick. Sorta like the black lexus IS300.
Some of us want black mirrors, but don't want to paint ours. It would be nice to have someone with a pair of used mirrors painted black in stock. I'm also thinking about putting flat black vinyl on my roof to black that out too.
Its funny that you mention that. I am about to get a set for my car and see how it comes out. I'll be sure to post photos as well once they're on the car. If theres enough interest, I'll see about offering them out to everyone
If you are interested in Sound Deadening, PM me to discuss you plans or set up a time to have it done.
I think it might look alright it you did the hood, roof, and trunk. But then it might be kind of like false advertising, because people would probably assume you had cf from any distance.
Haha, like the Civics where kids spraypaint the hoods flatblack so it looks like CF when you drive by.
The thing is I just don't see the point. It doesn't serve any function as far as I can see, so... :dunno: ????? (talking about blacking out the roof and stuff)
When it comes to "bling" there's not really much of a point to do anything now is there? We still do it
Touché! We do indeed. I know I paid way too much for my Sparco shift knob. I'm just more into keeping it clean and OEM for the most part I guess. Putting STi parts on my car is one of my interests...
i second the mudflap fitment, including multiple types like the splashguards and floppy flaps and stiff flaps. Oh and 2nd Ped with bolstering seats. I've worn a Mallard-shapped butt-print in my seat cushion and its just not comfy, but i'm in no need of racing seats....
