2 questions about STi's

    1. What is the stock max psi on the turbo for an '06 STI?

    2. What are yhe dif. between the '06 and '07 STi ?

    There are both visible and "invisible" differences between 06 and 07 stis...I'll let someone more knowledgeable chime in though.

    07 sti has longer gearing, different turbo, different injectors.

    Also reworked heads and completely different ecu. I'm sure a bunch of other things.

    when i spoke to scott, he said definitely get the 07 for the gearing and diff alone. so i did ;)

    this is what i've experienced so far and/or have heard:
    the "wire" throttle is jumpy, even after it "learns" it still appears jumpy, and acceleration is not smooth under WOT - you WILL need engine management.

    i've heard two different things about the control arms 1) they're jdm aluminimum (not c-spec though) and 2) may not be that way for long (so get one earlier than later)

    i believe the gearing is longer in 2, 3, and 4 - which is a good thing

    cowl braces have been made stiffer - good

    sway bars are 1mm thinner - not so good (but who the hell keeps them stock? lol)

    caster has been reduced a touch - not so good

    stereo has direct mp3 hookup - really nice ;)

    EM is much "deeper" - which may mean more can be tuned/tweaked
