Goixiz makes and sells a few products (hood dampers and short shifter that I know of). I bought some hood dampers from him. They have a nice fit, high quality, and best of all inexpensive! They're like Tein hood dampers, just not as flashy. You open the hood half way, then the dampers take over. It also opens the hood a little bit farther than the standard "kick stand." Grade: A
...I saw peds at the last install day; they looked nice. Post a review in our review's section, www.wrxatlanta.com/reviews
I don't know about the components, you'd have to ask Goixiz. I agree. I would rather have Teins if they were the same price, because frankly the Teins are... Teins. But these definetely get the job done for a modder on a budget (like me).
Umm...maximize customer utility! The bottom line, whether you would like to admit to it or not, is that individuals will pay for the expensive ish...because it is the expensive ish. Throwing paint, stickers, whatever on there, all makes the item appear that much more appealing and desirable as engine bay bling.
different strokes for different folks My initial survey prior to design work and spec parts was #1 is cost #2 no drill no rivet Whatever color you want even carbon fiber overlays i can do it if you are willing to pay for it it can be done easily - krylon is not the limit What ever material you want stainless, titanium, cobalt, you name it, if it can be machined i can make it. Again you have the $ i have the resource. I dont have a metal badge just fingerprints and a plastic decal My intention is not engine bling. Its functional and cost and looks as close to OEM as possible with no modifications what so ever. Initial order of 100sets has been sold and im now into backorder. Thanks to many that made this project possible I highly recommend Tein. In fact i highly recommend them if you are not budget limited and do not mind a little rust here and there and the bright color that match your beautiful car
