Hey everybody, just wanted to introduce myself. Name's Chandler, I'm 31, and I drive an 04 San Remo Red WRX tuned by Scott Siegel (thanks man ). I live in NE Alabama, near Heflin, just across the state line. I've met some of the members on here in person already, but I don't know their used IDs.. I'm fairly new to Subarus, but not to automotive in general, and like drag racing and some road course in my spare time. I guess that's about it.
The 20G is an awesome turbo, but laggy on the 2.0... full boost comes about 3800-4k, but after that, it pulls like a freight train :eek3: I chose the 20G for a couple of reasons though- price, and I'm building a 2.5 hybrid to get full use of the 20G.
very nice man!! have you dyno'd it yet? if not we are having a dyno day.. here is the link http://www.wrxatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11254 even if you dont dyno come on out and meet some of the awesome members of our site.. oh and welcome aboard!
Chandler, Welcome to the forums...Nice Ride...I used to have a 04 SRR WRX also, and I really miss it... Mark
Welcome on board. Sorry for takin your other thread a bit off topic. That turbo is just begging for the 2.5! I can't wait to see what you make with the new motor. Are you doing stock 2.5 short block or built?
No prob. The 2.5 will be mildly built to start with.. I'll see how it performs, and then maybe go from there if it needs more.
