Well since I've installed my sway bars they've been popping like hell. Some get bad enough to feel it through the floor board. Just curious as to if I should loosen them slightly or tighten them down? I can't really figure out whats making the noise, nothing seems out of place.

It started to pop on the front with just an endlink install. Now it seems to be all over the car, and its a little annoying.

The question is tighter or loosen? :naughty:

Are you sure you didnt put them on upside down, or install the endlinks backwards?

Check and make sure everything is actually tight down there ;)

I just went down and torqued some stuff down a bit more. Bars are fine, as are the endlinks. Hard to get to the front's, might have to do those tomorrow but I got them a little bit more.

Rears were pretty tight, only two budged. I'll see what it does tomorrow

There are torque specs for all suspension components on your car. Buy a torque wrench and don't second guess it. http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/showthread.php?t=80548. Its too hard to just say you need to tighten it or loosen it. The endlink bolts shouldn't be really tight. They need to be able to rotate slightly. Your popping could be from overtightening, where the endlinks have to overcome the tightness of your bolt in order to rotate.

My front bars pop and have for years. No amount of re-checking, lube, using different endlinks or wishing has changed any of it. I've just learned to deal with it

I tightened them down and now theres no noise. Guess they were too tight. May go back over them with a torque wrench later
