South Eastern Lexus Owners Club & Georgia 3000GT/Stealth & host the 7th annual, 1st this year, SouthEast Track Day



SouthEast Track Day // A gathering of many auto enthusiasts, high end, and high performance vehicles that caravan out to Reynolds, GA to tune and compete against others during many runs, with cash prizes being awarded to the top places in the Quick 8 Elimination, as well as trophies for other recognizeable accomplishments.


SUNDAY - MARCH 4TH - THE DRAG RACE

When: Sunday, March 4th. The gates open at 10am, racing begins at 11am, runs and qualifying for the Quick 8 will be throughout the day, Quick 8 Eliminations will begin around 3pm, awards will immediatly follow.

Where: Silverdollar Raceway in Reynolds, GA.

Prizes:
Quick 8: The quickest 8 cars will compete for 4 top place cash prizes. Rules to enter the Quick 8 are on the website!
Other prizes: There will be a cash prize for the quickest RWD, FWD, and AWD of the day & there will be trophies for the quickest naturally aspirated 3/S, quickest forced induction 3/S, quickest naturally aspirated Lexus, quickest forced induction Lexus, and best reaction time!

Cost: It will be $22 if you pre-register on the website & $25 if you pay at the gate.

I have never done anything like this, I had a few questions, Is my car fast enough to require a helmet 13.99, and would this event be a good one to start with?

 

STi's, if driven correctly, will run 13's easy... at this event, you can get a ton of runs... so it will be a good one to start with

If you aren't sure, you are allowed one run down the track to see what sort of times you are making. If you are faster than 13.99 and required to wear a helmet, the ladies at the end with your time slip will tell you that you can't go again without a helmet.

We had a lot of people say they have had an abundance of shirts from our events, so we switched it up this event and are having SETD tire pressure gauges made for those who pre-register.

 

I don't really want to run but I'd like to go and watch. Anyone else want to carpool? Share the gas and also on hotel cost? PM me plz.

 

Anyone have a car trailer I can borrow/rent?

how is this hotel close enough that it's convenient to stay there instead of another hotel that's closer? i used to live in peachtree city and i've been to solver dollar and they are not close to eachother at all. is there anyone actually planning on staying at this best western in PTC?

The Varisty caravan will roll out at 8:15am!!!! Make sure that you have already checked all fluids and are gassed up before then. Leading/organizing will be Dustin ... just follow his bike:

I'm inbetween varsity and reynolds(forsyth) but id still like to catch the caravan as it passes through forsyth..and idea of when that maybe?

 

ShaneSTi and I had coordinated this last time... i called him when we left the varsity... then called him when we were 10 miles from his exit... then at 5 miles... at this point, he was parked near the on ramp... then called him again when we were a mile away... thats when he got on the highway and drove in the slow lane... as we passed him, he merged into the caravan...
