Thoughts on this new night-time browsing theme?

    I'm still working on everything, but here's a basic preview of my idea. The goal was to tone down the coloring so that when you're browsing the site at 12-3am as I frequently do you are not bombarded with whites, blues, etc.

    yea man, that's awesome! I do like toned down simplistic color schemes. I like that color choices for sure.

    I like it a lot. Can you make it automatically change in the browser after a certain time on the local machine say like 8pm and have it change back like at 8am. Is that too much to ask...

    Add it to the list of options. Continue making more and more and more! Just have it all as options!

    Another forum I go to has customizable forum colors that you can add through CSS coding in your profile (which would make the whole site whatever color scheme you wanted). So people make some of their own and post it up for others to copy.

    This is definitely going to be my new default setting for this forum; so much easier to look at!

    OK, now how do I make it default in the new dark style, I just tried to view a different thread and it switched back to "classic" style.

    You should be able to go into your UserCP and define the default style which you would like to browse in.

    User CP --> Edit Options --> Miscellaneous Options --> Forum Skin --> 17th

    Preference set! :D FYI...there is some white pixelation around the icons for IM, quote, multi-quote, edit, and the online indicator. Check it.
