Quick Question

    ok so my mods are tbe(catless) STi top mount and a OTS map(STG 2)
    i get fuel cuts from time to time... now the new TM has nothing to do with it cause i used to get some even with the stock one.
    why can i be getting fuel cuts... i only get them in 4th and 5th.

    one of my friends told me that i can down load a high waste gate acuator(??) map from cobb but haven't had any luck finding it.
    can anyone help me out?

    could get protuned....that might solve the situation
     

  3. yeah i know that... but i don't wanna get tuned until i get a bigger turbo and a meth kit

    just curious, but are you getting boost creep in 4th and 5th. protuned or equivalent is always better...it's custom to your car and the way it's behaving. so you can sort out any issues that come up.
     


  5. yep...... 4th and 5th... when it was warm out i didn't..... could it be cause of the cold weather? i think thats what it is...
    id like to get protuned but don't wanna waste more money later to get retuned

    boost creep is usually more prevalent in the cold. though i don't know why that is...i'm sure someone on here does.

    well that seems to be the answer...it's gotta get tuned. it's the only way to adjust the WGDC and such to correct the problem.

    In this weather, in those particular gears, generally fuel cuts = boost creep = over boost = CEL + Blinking Cruise

    Maybe try porting your waste gate if its boost creep causing the fuel cut.
