Yeah! I thought it woulda come on at a different time in the south though..... I hope Gushi takes it to em. I wish he woulda got the Vette though.
i thought the show was interesting. the 350 should have one the road race, he was faster through the turns.
yeah i know and it really sucks, but it seems like a cool concept. i'm now watching the pinks all-out and it's great!
That really would have sucked if he had to fork up $30K Forza bucks for another video game car, and thats not including the virtual emergency room visit.
you talking about the part where he cut through the grass? what a nut, he is lucky the didnt get smashed.
we need to get some sort of a GT4 or Forza G2G. Let me see some geeks raise their hands and make this happen.
Dan and I may be on there. Dan was called in to tune both of the 350 Z's after the drifting comp. Let's just say that they...uhhhhhhhh....didn't know how to install a turbo kit and Dan had to fix it for one of them then he had to tune both of the cars. I'm not sure if we will make it on since we weren't "part of the team". If we are going to be on, I think it will be the next show.
I hate how 2 of the cars broke before the road race. It would've been so much more interesting otherwise IMO. Next shows gonna be interesting though. I really hope Gushi can out-drift all those other racers! It'd be so messed up if he lost that one.
Batlground, it wasn't that we didn't know how to install a turbo. It was the fact that we had less than 24 hours to install it and tubonetics required us to send off the ECU's to be reflashed, something that neither team would have had time to do. so I would take it as a compliment to come in and tune and poss even get recognition. that segment hasn't aired yet. Just thought I would share the other side of the story on why you guys came in.
Dan was called in to tune true enough. When we got there in the morning, the car wasn't ready to tune. I was told straight up by some of the team members that they didn't know how to install the turbo kit once we got there Not sure who this is and my comments weren't meant to offend (so my apologies if it came across that way), but I do know that Dan spent the entire day there helping with the fix of the install (I only came because the tuning was only supposed to take an hour). The tuning took about an hour after everything was taken care of. Thanks for clearing things up
I too am not trying to come accross offensive/defensive.I was part of the Godfathers teanm and I remember seeing you there and your silver evo. Did we know or do turbo installs day in and day out, no. this was in fact our first install and I was there til 4:30 am that morning helping put it on. When I left I thought it was ready minus the boost gauge install which they forgot to give us. But yeah we needed a tune (both Z cars) and for that we are thankful b/c the cars ran like crap running on a stock ecu. the rest of the show should be interesting to watch. Also were you there the night they had the cookout?
I'm just happy to hear they did a turbo upgrade on the Z's and not some (ahem) other lame-O power adder. In all honesty I wish I could watch the entire season of this show. That's how much I like the concept. After that I be happy to watch 5 or 6 more seasons of it. I mean where else can you watch this kind of stuff?
On wed. show, they'll be on the autocross course that we're having the G2G at in May, so watch and learn the course
NASIOC has some reasonably decent thoughts on the topic. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1207453&highlight=forza
Angela Cope also has a twin sister taht races as well, just not as much. She was originally going to be apart fo the show as well i believe but declined.
