OK, I just aquired a 5 month old Boxer today... are there any downsides to the breed? I now have a 5mo old English Springer Spaniel and a 5mo old Boxer :hsugh: EDIT: Leave his balls outa this
awesome James! i'll have to post pics of my boxer, Georgie. Chopper is a good lookin boxer. eventually, when we get a fence put up, we want to get another one for a playmate. oh yeah, your other dog is a cutie too!
Congrats! Two of my close friends in NJ have 3 boxers between the 2 of them (I'll dig up some pictures and post up). They are great dogs and I've never heard of any problems with the breed. From experience, they are great with kids and people, in general, and make great loving pets. In fact, one of the boxers is trained as a hospital therapy dog and makes weekly/monthly visits to a children's hospital. Very cool. Enjoy the new pup!
Since you have 2 you should not have a problem. I know some people that have a boxer by itself and it is very energetic. But if they are together all the time they will play and that will keep the overexcitement level down. Good luck. I had to take my dog in for x-rays this morning. She has a slight limp...
Thanks! She is spoiled rotten and she knows it I can't help it.... She is actually in surgery as we speak :hs: Shes getting fixed
I was enjoying watching him eat the bush and the dirt around it earlier today when we were putting the kartboy in :hs:
My boxer used to tear up everything made of paper. For some reason he just loved to shred it up and leave laying all over.
To the OP, your dog is cute, it seems like it has a nice personality considering how it acts with your other dog. To the guy I quoted please let me know the outcome of the x-rays. I know a really good orthopedic surgeon that helped my dog that had a limp.
