Watch out for the leghumpers, and welcome. Not from Augusta personally, but wife's family is so we spend a good deal of time there.. nice little (or not so little, technically) place.
welcome to the boards... we don't have very many people from augusta on our boards... the only one i know of was married05gt but he sold his legacy a really good friend of mine (x-girlfriend) actually is from augusta and went to evans high school i believe...
I'm from the AUG Well technically Columbia county, but still. I went to Evans High School, now I'm at Georgia Tech. My parents and a lot of friends still live there though, so I'm home with decent frequency. Welcome!

Kinda. lol i actually live in Evans. i just moved here from Ohio.. its really boring here.. as far as my car goes.. i got it on my 21st birthday back in August and havent done anything to it. been moving around and just crazy busy but i do plan on it. as far as pics.. i have old ones.. nothing new yet.

Hey there. There's actually a Savannah sub-forum that gets posts from time to time. Not super close to Augusta.... The drives we went on through Savannah and around the "loop" were simply amazing.
I think it's about the same. Depending on where you're going of course. Google maps says Savannah is 7 miles closer but you hardly ever just stop right on the city limit. It's funny how that works huh!
Yeah, you're right on the actual distance, but there also isn't an interstate from Augusta to Savannah And yeah, my "Hello" thread didn't get this much response
