I've been debating this... I don't want to make it a complete copy of an S204, just similar.

I'd like to do the rear wing (carbon?), badges, fender marker, dash, and front lip...
Think I should do it, or just get the lip?

The only lip I would do is the 'genuine' STi lip. What about the Nurburgring decals? ;)
OR just go badgless all together, minus the rear egg

the reasons i don't like badges are:

    1) i prefer the clean look
    2) i don't wanna put a badge on my car that says its something it isnt

I'd rather just go for the looks of it instead of replacing aftermarket parts with aftermarket parts (money pit)

We need to find a shop that will do a group badge removal for the 06-07 guys... Someone that can weld it and paint it fairly cheap and GOOD

I do like the rear wing a lot though, it looks stock and it shows off the 'hips' ;) I'm just not sure about doing it white or carbon... If I did carbon, I'd have to do a OEM carbon hood, but no one makes the quality of carbon that I'm used to... (pre-preg 4X4 twill, about 5-6 layers, carbon undertray, made on a propper mould, vacuum bagged, and cooked in an autoclave... I'm picky)

I like the alum. mirrors. Also, ravspec and a few others sell replica s203/4 wings. Personally, the RA wing interests me more ;)

RA...Spec C-RA? I was looking at Ravspec, and they only offer the S203, so I sent them an e-mail asking about the S204

Actually, now that I am comparing the two. The s203 wing is far more G'd out than the s204 luxury wing. Im trying to remember who ran the GB on IW, it mighta been chasin.

    For comparison...

Eeek. IMO, I would spend that money on some power and suspension mods. The S204 look is still hot, nonetheless, you have to go with your gut on this one.

I agree on the power, but I'm just about finished on the suspension side of things. Just a few more braces and bushings...

The thing is...they are just BBS RE wheels, 18x8.5. You can get BBS RE in 18x8 for about half that much.

Yeah, thats my point. 18x8 isnt s204 now is it? I dont even know if BBS is selling the 8.5 or not, the 3.500 price was the take-off price on a few of the importer sites.

the 18x8.5 is only made for Subaru for the s204. The 18x8 is widely available from many sources. They are just not as wide as the s204 wheels.

I'm actually working on some S204 bits for my car - mainly just the wing, mirrors, wheels, and lip. I love the look of the S204. Wicked car.

    I say get these

    1. spec C aluminum trunk- weight savings
    2. S204 wing if you must for the obvious look ( but do you want to drill into a perfectly good trunk)
    3. front lip is a must, accentuates the front end
    4. BBS wheels, probably can find the correct model for much cheaper than actual S204 take offs

after that, you are pretty much there for looks

Doesn't the spec trunk already come with holes?

Nah, Spec C uses a wing similar to the stock WRX spoiler.

The s204 uses totally different holes. You will either have to get a wingless trunk and drill it or fill the holes in your trunk and drill the new holes for the s204 wing.
