This is very, very cool. Just received an invite and opened up an account (it'll be available to everyone in a few months). E*Trade will let you move money between several currencies (GBP, EUR, CAD, HKD, JPY) as well as invest in several foreign markets (France, Germany, England, Hong Kong, Japan, Canada). I was just talking to a friend about how nice this would be to have a week or two ago, and here it just shows up. :) Really great if you want to directly invest in other markets as well as hedge currencies...

awesome! there's a french company that will most likely be making most the turbines for china's coal-power plants that i've really been wanting to get into. i just got an email from them a week ago, i didn't read it. i wonder if this had something to do with it.

I have an esignal account and can look at virtually any market and stock in real time (using neoticker). so if someone wants a chart just drop me a line.

Look into New Energy, Solar, Wind, etc. I made 6k in the past few months. I bought a stock in a company called Energy Conversions last year at $29. Today trades for round $72. It pays a dividend too.
