i went around ebay for fun looking for strut bars since i see no oem strut on 06-07 *unless im blind* and i came around this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-0...104334959QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item230104334959 you get what you pay for so i dont expect much out of it but i read some nasioc reviews on them and most ppl are pleased by them and see little to no difference from these to name brand struts. so what ya think? i think im better off just saving up for a jdm STi Front Strut Bar
I heard that some of them have fitment issues, but if you can get it to fit on your car properly then it should be just about as good as the jdm one. It certainly is a good price. -- Brian
front strut bars won't do much for performance since it rides so close to the firewall on our cars... might be useful with WIDE race tires... but your money is probably better spent elsewhere unless u want the bling factor of a strut bar
haven't done much research on how much a rear sway will help by itself... however, if you are after improved handling, better tires and/or swaybars will do good for you
i have an ebay front strut. I did notice it limited my camber by about .2 ( i assume because the front was more rigid, although i have no idea) but it seemed to reduce flex from the winshield. I did have fitment issues so i had to drill the holes for the mounts again to make it fit. more show than go as milo said.

You do realize that you will see virtually no difference with a front strut bar right. It is a waste of money unless you are going for the Bling factor. Money could be much better spent on some swaybars, uppipe, etc... oops, Milo beat me to it.
+1 rear struts are right next to the pillars too, i wouldn't image a big difference there either, but i could be wrong.
The only strut tower bars worth having don't have bolts, they should be one solid peice. When they bolt together its just a pivot point. Matt
from what i hear, the rear strut bar for a wagon is actually worth it, but never heard of a front strut bar being worth it for our cars for the reason milo said
yeah... all you would accomplish would be converting a trapezoidal flex into a parallelogram flex... however, it would take more effort to flex a parallelogram

Hmm, honestly, Id go with fender braces over a front strut bar. Although right now, I am looking at the Carbing front strut bar which is a solid piece and has a master cylinder brace on it.
Tower bars are good but not till later down the road. Once you've done everything else it'll help more. Tower bars are only for chassis flex. The stiffer your entire setup is more you can feel the difference. With coilovers, upgraded swaybars, endlinks, bushings, and other braces I can feel a difference if I take my front tower bar off.
Good point but the GD chassis is something like 80% stiffer than yours. Wagons should benefit from a rear strut bar but I've never run one to say my own feelings on it.
