my car is an 03 bugeye sedan, and of course i`m going to do timing belt+water pump, and then get aftermarket fuel rails so that the 3rd cylinder doesnt run lean, but besides maintance, this is what i plan on doing. please feel free to chime in and let me know where i can get these stuff for cheap! thanks!

    my current mods are:
    1) sti axle-back (i plan on keeping it this way, because i want to be able to drive on the highway without a drone... after i get a DP it`ll still be manageable sound wise).
    2) whiteline steering rack bushings
    3) Nitro's 6K HID kit with yellow fog lenses (running on stock housings..it's not projo HIDs, but it's better than my halogens IMO.. distance in lights stayed the same, and i dont blind other ppl so it's fine. Luckly, it also seems to have a wide beam pattern).
    4) Cobb Accessport v.1.0 running stage 1.

(now for the fun part) my future mods are:
    0) Helix downpipe so that i can run stage 2 on my AP
    1) tokico D struts
    2) RCE springs w/ group-n tophats or prodrives+stock stuff (I think tokicos are better suited together w/ the prodrives, but if RCEs can be fitted with aftermarket tophats, and mate well with the tokicos, i will go this route)
    3) 17" rota D2s with yokohama prada-2s probably 215/45/17, although i would like to run at least 225 width. (i chose pradas for its treadwear for its performance! 320 treadwear, and excellent grip rain or shine) or bust out more moola and go with work meisters because they are beautiful!!!
    4) whiteline sway bars (27+ up front, and anything larger than stock at the rear, but keeping the front larger. i wont auto-x so i dont need oversteer with a larger bar at the rear. Plus, the larger bar up front allows the car to keep its camber constantly throughout the corner)
    5) quick steer column (fixes the steering ratio to 11:1, and i will DEFINITELY do this mod)
    6) a GOOD alignment
    7) steel brake linings (havent decided which brand yet, you guys can chime in and recommend which ones are good)
    8) Hawks pads- probably the street pads for an increased performance with less fading, noise, and brake dust. racing pads will screech, leave dusts, etc to be run on the streets.
    9) ALK and camber plates if i have enough moola after all those mods or am not happy after doing all those mods. i think i should be happy after doing everything listed up there. ^

btw, keep in mind, my car is a daily drive with no future plans on doing any type of racing. it's just a car for daily commute and a few sprited runs down the mountain sometimes. so, what do you guys think?

If you're going to do a DP and stage 2, I would HIGHLY recommend an uppipe as well.

As for the fuel rails... they're nice, sure, but how many close to stock cars do you know of that have had issues with the stock ones? Just trying to save you a buck here. :)

Sounds good. A couple of things though.

If droning is all you are worried about, there are a lot of aftermarket Cat Backs that don't drone. I am running a fully catless exhaust from the up pipe back (Helix upipe, Cobb Downpipe, and Stromung Cat back.) I don't have any droning. If you don't want the droning, just stay away from the cannister style mufflers. (and for the record, not all cannister mufflers drone, but it is more common with them)

I am not familiar with the Tokico D struts, but I have run Tokico Blues and Iluminas in the past, and neither one were that great. Maybe the Ds are better. I have no idea. Based on my experience with two of the tokico lines though, I stay away from them now.

    Ditto on the Up pipe.

You really can't go wrong with SS brake lines...they are all pretty much the same.

Everything else sounds good...except the 215s...225 at least IMO.

    Have fun!

the reason why i was staying away from an uppipe is that my only option is to gut my own or buy a gutted one, (because of money) and i heard that it only takes a little piece of cat to shut down my turbo.. same reason with the fuel rails..(but if i have money, i can just get aftermarket ones and not worry about that). i just like to keep my car reliable and free of issues (like, i know when something goes wrong, i dont wanna feel like crap because i messed up my car from modifying it in an ignorant way). but yea, thanks for the advices guys. i`m still debating on the tokico-Ds b/c i havent done a full research on them yet.

If anything you'd have more reliability with a gutted UP than with a stock one assuming it's done right... with a stock one and modzzz it's more likely to just have the cat break up on you.

Its a nice list, but I think the best thing to do is really work at it incremental. Theres a considerable amount of money on that list that you may not need to spend (imo). Obviously what most owners do is the following...

    Exhaust: Full TBE & UP
    Stability: Sways Fr / RR
Suspension: Aftermarket springs, Endlinks (front / rear)
Tires: for the love of god, get something other than re92s

Look around on here or Nasioc. I have seen MANY uppipes go for $75-$150 used. It is a good investment, I got mines for under $150
