Apparently, real pics of the new impreza were posted on NASIOC for awhile. They have been taken down now though. Please don't post or link to them through our site, but I'll take PMs if you have the pics saved!!! :hsugh:
The pics are very small (100x60) but they show a car that's pretty close to some of the renderings online. I'm not realy impressed, but i'll wait until i see better pictures to make a judgement.
Jan of 08 or so. Not sure when any sort of picture unavailing will be though. Id imagine much sooner.
Wow. It's a Mazda 3... I kind of like it though. I mean I like the 3 but no AWD has always meant it was never a reasonable option, even with the MazdaSpeed treatment. I'd trade my rex in on an STi I guess. Thanks for the link man.
From what I have read you will see the new 2.5i and WRX at the New York autoshow and the STi at the Tokyo Show in september. PM me a link as well. I wanna see.
Who ever said it looked like a Mazda 3 was right. Also I think Subaru needs a 3 door hatch. The 5 door is great but their WRC competition is using smaller 3 door hatches.
More pm's sent. LOL I don't think i like the white tailights on the hatchback, it looks ricerish. The new car also seems to have a lot of tribeca elements, like somebody pointed out. I can't wait to see the real thing.
We will see at least the 2.5i in New York. Also there is a counter on the Subaru page. http://www.subaru.com/sub/misc/2008/autoshow/countdown/index.html They may announce all the trims instead of just the lower ones. The new Evo is due at Tokyo from my understanding.

I'll say it: fucking yuck. It's like a ford focus/mazda wagon/cx-7 hybrid of gayness. (this bashing is based on the pictures at the top of the page and the youtube video). The more I look at the pictures at the top, the more I hope that someone just messed up and that is actually an entirely different model.
Yeh, its kinda meh! But you know how Subaru likes to do things...keep you guessing until its finally time for the reveal.
