What dust shields are you looking for? The ones that sit above the struts in the rear? Brake dust shields?
hmmmm...what do you need brake dust shields for, you wouldn't be making brake cooling ducts would you.....
I need front dust shields for WRX and RS. The spilt beans: I am going to be making a 1 size fits all (WRX STi and RS) brake duct kit. Rev1 will have 2" cooling-adequate for 90% of the folks out there that do street / AX / track days and easy to fit on a 'street' car. Rev2 will have 3" or dual 2" or 3" ducts on each side for serious time trial road race apps with hoses snaking all around the entire underside of the car. Think "snakes on a plane". Donors will get cheap cooling kits. I know plenty of you have shields you can unbolt, bring them by and I'll give you a beer. Post up so I don't get 45 wrx dust shields and 45 folks expecting beers and cheep cooling kits.

Please design them correctly and cover the whole center of the rotor. The other ones that are out there aren't good enough. Matt
What do you mean? My prototypes were made by JRD, modeled after the Panoz GT cars. The plate has an oval, %80 of which is over the "center" of the rotor, ei the air is pumped into the inside of of the rotor aka the vaned area. I have seen other designs that just pump at at the 'car side' surface of the rotor. I don't believe these would cool the wheel side surface of the rotor. Is that what you mean or are you thinking it will be beneficial to have the duct cover the entire center of the rotor.... installation would require taking the axls out... While this might increase air delivery to the vanes by minimizing blow by, it wouldn't eliminate blow by (unless the the duct 'doughnut' was very close to the rotor). Also, the center of the rotor is sucking in air. Gimme ur thoughts... and ur dust shields.
The way all the brake ducts are that I have seen cover the entire center of the brake rotor, so that the air is pumped out through the vanes. My personal opinion is that if you only cover part of that area then you aren't being very effective in pumping the air out through the vanes. Matt Edit For youre version II plates for the hardcore guys I assume, I don't think any of them are going to mind pulling the axles to install them. There is a serious lack of race quality parts available for the STI, everything that is available is a compromise.
