the last autox I saw on the blue lot a yellow integra R crashed due to the slope and the driver underestimating it. I would much rather be on the green lot.
30+ Drivers!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From what I can tell we have 30 + Drivers:coolugh: There a some who have registered through the Season Pass Registration so I cant read that one. I know we have 2 Redliners on that one and I believe there are several WRX ATL Drivers there as well. Milo, if you could check the Season Pass folks out to make sure they are registered correctly, that would be great. I believe sound is only an issue at Gwinnett. They don't do sound checks at Turner so you should be fine to run without a muffler.
As far as I remember, from my last conversation with Heyward, sound control is an issue at Gwinnett County Fairgrounds only. Hence we selected a date at Turner. I'll re-verify this with him. Just verified with Heyward. No sound control at Turner.

I was able to get my number again from last year, so I can still run the Magnets 1ll-WRX made us. Shame you lost that Job, I would get the magnets redone each year, just to have a date stamp on them and hold onto them.

Team Solo is aware that there will be a large number of newcomers at this event so they are taking the necessary steps to ease everyone through the formalities. Please arrive at the event before 8am and look for the Novice group. They should have a tent or signs that will help you find them. They will walk you through all the formalities (Check in, tech inspection, work requirements, course walk, etc.). I strongly recommend you join this group, especially if it is your first time at an autocross event. I shall be joining to offer additional support. They are pretty strict on closing check in and tech inspections at the posted times so be there early

I don't know if this was asked or not, but does it matter if someone races for WRXatlanta that is not registered to the site? My co-driver isn't a WRXatlanta member and needs to race in the CWR class with me in the morning.
Ok, so make him register. This is my opinion, but I think you should have to be a registered member of one of the clubs to compete in the Club Wars.

Members Only I ran into this with another Club. We know we cant fully enforce the Members only Rule but I do ask that if they are not Members of your Club, that they do not drive under your Clubs name. Every person driving for Redline is a Registered Member. I have personally turned guys down that just wanted to run for us and not join the Club. In WRX I Trust. J Man

I am assuming you have street tires. If you just want to run with the Club Wars, register in the CWS class and list 'WRXatlanta' as your sponsor. I believe your regular SCCA class will be STX. If you want to run in STX and Club Wars, register under STX, list 'WRXatlanta' as your sponsor, and put 'CWS' in your model field.
Also, since this will be your first event you can also run Novice. You can run Novice for your first 2 events, and then you have to run in class. Since you are new, make sure to get some ride alongs with some of us before your first run.
If i run STX will i be running in the same session as the CWS people? Also are tires the major difference between ESP and STX?
STX runs in Heat 1 and works Heat 2. Club Wars will be in the morning but the specific order of CWS and CWR has not been fixed as far as I know.
