welcome to the boards. wow colorado is pretty far away. howd you hear about us? sweet looking wagon btw.
thanks jt. i just kinda stubled across the site. one of those long links that ends randomly. sooo, here i am. i see you're a florida fan.....
Hello Preston, Glad to see you made it over....I bet there will be more people checking the site out now...Nice wagon....I only put the link to our site up so you could see the pics...LOL... Mark BTW...WeaponWRX is a CO native on the boards...he should chime in soon.... Mark
Lovin' the Recaro baby child seat! Hope to have one for my Daughter when she is a little older! I have family in the Denver area...Estes Park I think. Welcome to the site!
estes park is absolutely beautiful. we gp up there 2-3 times a month. right now, the elk are in rutt, so they're EVERYWEHERE. i was up there about a week ago, and a herd of approximately 300 elk were blocking the street and we had to wait for them to move. felt like a scene from northern exposure. the recaro baby seat is a must have. i considered it a bonus when we found out jill was pregnant. so mark is the grey ghost on pirates. fancy seeing you here....
Wow, funny that you guys talk about Estes Park. My parents just bought some property there and are moving (from Orlando) as soon as they finish building a house. I can't wait to visit on a regular basis!!! Edit: Kick ass wagon. I hope to slowly get my wagon to that stratasphere eventually.
welcome aboard! Sweet looking wagon dude. I miss mine. Looks like you have put a lot of love into it. I am surprised you are running pinks with an 18G. I would think you would need bigger injectors for that snail. good to see the site has branched so far west. I grew up in Denver/Lakewood/Englewood. Beautiful state. I miss it sometimes (not the nosebleeds and the dryskin though ). I still have family in Englewood and Littleton. Hoping to make it out there later this year for some snowboarding/visiting. well I hope you enjoy the site and stay a while! we are a very friendly community so dont worry about the "do a search ya nOOb" comments here.
thanks weapon. i have indeed put alot of love into my wagon. i wanted a sti, but needed the cargo space of a wagon, so i figured i'd make a sti wagon. in regards to the pinks, i was prepared to install some 850's, but when i got re-tuned, i was only at 71% duty on the pinks, well in range of being safe, and these pinks were flow tested by witch hunter @ 565. one day, i might get larger injectors, but i'm really in no rush. if/when you head up this way, holla at me and i'll organize a lil get together with some locals, you can check out what we're doing here on the front range.
Colorado! Man that shit aint far! Try Seattle or Tacoma, ha ha. Just playing BTW. I'm actually from GA but I only get back there once in a while these days. Welcome to the board man it is a pretty laid back, mellow and cool place to be. Awesome wagon too.
thanks. i'm about 2.5 hrs from vail. it's a sick place to ride for sure. vail, breck, winter park, a-basin.... they're all good. i prefer to stay away from the gapers, and hit some of the local spots. IMO, loveland is colorado's best kept secret. sshhhhh....don't tell anyone. i've never been to washington bluetwo, but i hear it's beautiful. thanks for the compliment.
so i spread the word to some of my homies. we'll see if they stop by for a visit. raced a saleen on a local track near colorado springs yesterday. 1st run was rolling from about 60 mph, 4th gear pull, took him by about 3 car lengths when i shut it down. 2nd run was from 30 mhp, 3rd gear pull, and had his ass by 100 yards when i finally shut it down. it was awesome!! he turned off and gave me a "thumbs up." mustangs are my favorite cars to totally destroy. have a great weekend ya'll.
And of course i-25 is a local track, right and, this was actually a dream. We tend not to look to favorably on street racing posts here. Check the rules in my sig for any questions...
