I've heard mix feelings about both. Just wanted to know what you guys think. Where is the best place to buy them at?

Subaru of Gwinnett stocks both. I've got the HPS and they're good street pads, I've never tracked them. They feel stock-ish for daily braking but when you stand on the brakes they stop a lot quicker. I think it was ~150 for Hawk HPS pads F/R from SoG.

brand is preference, performance level depends on your application ;)

most here are running carbotech bobcat/panter or hawk hps/hp+. if you're going to track, get the latter of each brand, otherwise just pick a brand and try it out. ;)

    ^^ Me too.

I can vouch for HPS. They're not like stock. MUCH more response. I can overpower my tires at just about any speed, but only once. They're not track pads.

On my WRX I had the bobcats and the HPS. I liked the bobcats much more.

I have Bobcats up front and HPS in the rear...don't ask. The bobcats bite better, but the HPS are less noisy/messy. Both seem to hold up fine for Auto-x!

Yeah, which of the two are less dusty...looking for pads that dont coat my rims in one day, like my Axxis Ultimates.

I had black/dark gunmedal rimz with the bobcats so I cant really comment on the dust factor. didnt seem that bad.

Dust doesnt bother me so much as its a sign that the pads are taking the wear not your rotors. I have the HPS and I dont really like them. They work, but there is little feedback from them and they just feel sloppy.

    Go with Panther's or HP+ :)

well i ran the Axxis and now the HP+. it seems as if the HP+ aren't as dusty, but then again i'm not traveling in ATL traffic anymore on my daily commute.

but fwiw i like the HP+ a hell of a lot better. still haven't tracked them, but i'm sure they will be so much freaking better when i do.

When I order the brakes. Do I have to order the stainless steel brake lines and brake fluid? Or can I just order the fluid?

You don't HAVE to get SS brake lines. It's just one of those little things that helps improve pedal feel. Although when I changed the fluid the first time, I figured that I might as well switch to SS lines since they're not that expensive anyway...
