FOR THE SEASON, let's figure out where else we can meet up every other tuesday. Phil, you still wanting to get something together at On the Border? I know bobby, alex, and the rest of them are wanting to do a fellini's pizza thing, but Lavista is OUT THERE! Let's put our heads together and come up with something we can do! Thanks!
Joel and I really want you guys to come and do the Fellinis meets again, you say that the lavista location is out there but its closer to town than the jimmy carter papadeuxs, its really easy access from anywhere. Plus im sure there will be deals on food.
there is a good one in Duluth some co-worker keeps telling me about, and he's Indian. So i'll get that address and post up a link with google maps. EDIT: I heard there was a place that has belly dancers and hookas....
If Jimmy Carter is too far for the downtown peeps then any Gwinnett location would probably be further fro them...But i'm down for a gwinnett meet that doesn't involve BP and police...
brewhouse is very good (they have awesome tater tots) love the tots...on the border is still good for me...we can get the discounts. annd yes brewhouse is in little 5. pretty close to where i live
There is also 5 Seasons brewpub and rest. in Sandy Springs. That's fairly central. And Rock Bottom in Buckhead is kick ass too.
I know this may seem a bit strange to ask but are any of these places baby friendly? I don't want to disappear after the baby is born and I would like to introduce her to the family early so she gets used to it. I hope you guys don't have baby phobia. It's okay Patrick, we won't hold it against you
Rock Bottom = Brewery + Restaurant in Buckhead. And yes, it is as baby friendly as the people you are going with. In other words, its baby friendly as long as you are not sitting next to one of the Matts
I like Rock Bottom and might even be able to talk the wife into going if we go there (Especially if other wives/girlfriends/children are present, would also bring the munchkin....)
Brewhouse rocks, the line is cool because there is plenty of parking and the owners are great guys, I'm sure I can talk them into running some specials for us. Brewhouse is central to everybody. The line is a little closer to the Marietta guys. Matt
Same goes for 5 Seasons as far as central and plenty of parking. Oh, and GREAT beer I've never been to Brewhouse, where is it?
Charlotte's gotta have at least 1 bad influence in her life to keep mommy on her toes, right Uncle Matt?
YES!!!! Let's pick a place and do it. Should we put up a poll and cut it off after a week and then we will go wherever the poll results say that week. "Let's sh** or get off the pot," as my mom would say. :keke:
I would vote for 5 seasons at The Prado which is very centrally located on Roswell Rd south of 285 and about 1/4 mile from my apartment. Lots of parking, great american/japanese fusion cuisine and great micro brewery. They also have an outdoor covered patio to sit in. The price is a little higher then other places, but not more then Pappa's, and the food is worth it.
