i finally saved some money to buy some top plates for my whiteline coilovers. i need front and rear. i know you guys have given input befor but i am now ready to get some. what kind and were can i get them from? thanks!
PDE wont be avalible for another month. While they are good...dunno if its worth the 1 month wait. I dont like the noltecs... Cusco's are fine if you can find them. You can make the JIC's work with a special lugnut and shortened socket that you are not using anymore.... Dunno. In the past I've just taken some junk off of some random coilover that was junked and make it into something that meets my demands. The JIC's I had i adapted them to the stock strut and then slotted them out more for MAX caster. Same with teh D2's that I have. *shrug*
The bling is always worth the wait. I spoke to PDE customer service yesterday and they estimate 4-6 weeks for delivery to customers.
You could browse the for-sale forums of NASIOC & IWSTi looking for them. Otherwise, go to PDE directly.
what is the main advantage of the PDE over cusco? i`m only planning on getting the plates for the front, and i hear that the cusco plates will raise the front of the car or something..
Most plates raise the ride height some. The PDE's are predictably adjustable, and they do not slip. The Cusco's and others slip under extremely high loads.
hehe cusco front-$225, PDE-$400+.. i think i know which one i`ll go with. call me a ricer, but i cant get over the blue color on the cusco. they both affect caster as well right?
depends on how you install them. Unless you are going to be on a road course with serious race tires, the cusco will be fine.
