P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1) P0546 Exhaust gas temperature sensor circult high input P1312 Exhaust temperature sensor malfunction I know one of these is my exhaust, so I need to do the resistor fix for that. But what about the others? hlpplzkthx

Found a mechanical fix writeup for 0420 at http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5468 I have to clear the other two first, though. Otherwise I can't troubleshoot the 0420/0139 range depth. I intended to buy an AP before emissions due, but ran out of $$ and time. Any help or threadpointing is appreciated guys. I really don't want to be slapped with a late tag fee too.
Hmm, I'd say see if Mike (Liquidforce) could help you with it. I dont have my USB to serial cable so I cant use the laptop in the car, someone borrowed it. I passed emissions with flying colors last week, absolutely catless. Im just about to renew my tag online too.
My cable is fubar'd or I would have offered in my first post. I use it to log but it loses its connection sometimes which could be bad when reflashing. I'll use it on my own car but not someone elses. The mechanical fix may keep the light off but it may not pass inspection. It prevented my car from entering ready mode. It needs to be in this mode for the OBDII test.
well, i don't actually want to reflash with openECU, so if thats what gets done by using the cable, then I can skip that for now and try something else. Thanks, tho. I've got to clear these codes to pass inspection, but i'll be modding again later anyways.
Its not a total flash. You would just download your current image turn off the cels and flash it back. This leaves everything else the way it was. I am going to the dyno day tommorow at topspeed. If strayen will bring his cable, I'll bring my laptop and we can get you hooked up.
oh, they'll do that? Okay cool, not like i've never worked an event for something. I won't need a dyno run or anything either. Whats a good time to show?
i dunno, but i think when they clear codes, they clear the entire logging memory and put the ecu in a 'not ready' state that will fail emissions.

how many cats do we have in our cars again? i already lost one from getting the catless 3" helix DP, and i`m waiting on my catless up...
o man, that means i`ll be completely catless when i get the sti up.... kinda scary to think about, even though i have the cobb ap... i should be able to pass emission without any cats if i have em right?
