04 Koni's on an 03

What exactly would I need to put Koni shocks with STI springs off of an 04 WRX onto my 03 Wagon? And vice versa if I traded mine, what would he need to put my 03 shocks on his 04?

do you have 02-03 Koni's? I have 02-03 koni's with 04 springs and tophats. I just stacked washers in the tophat below the nut so it would tighten. I've had it like that for years.


However, It sounds like the setup you're looking at is already assembled. It will bolt right up, no problem. But I don't know if the wagon would need anything different

 

Sedan struts on a wagon makes negative camber very hard to come by. Vice versa, wagon struts on a sedan will result in lots of static negative camber without any adjustments.

 

but if they're Koni inserts, then he'd be using his lowers, right??? and it wouldn't matter.

I'm assuming he's talking about BelvnAWDs Konis for sale. You hack up your stock struts with konis and use lower section but Scott needs a set of struts to trade his car in with.

so if you wanted to use them you could just get a set of ingals camber bolts for $20 from summit racing and call it done

 

But I am trying to return my car to stock and sell it, lots of negative camber = bad resale value for me...:hsugh:
